[Event] Beach Party!!!!!

Mairi's eyes turned almost as round as the blitzball when she saw it appear in Emblem's hands. She squealed in delight and chased after him as he raced for the water, laughing excitedly. She wasn't sure how they could play the game with only two people, but she was going to give it her best shot.

Even if all it turned into was a complicated game of underwater tag.

Ilserun chuckled softly at the awkwardness in Soren's voice. She wasn't sure that she wasn't just as awkward. "I went south, made my way to the elves. They took me in... for a while. I spent a lot of time in the sun, is all." She fell silent for a moment, looking up into his face. "I never thought I'd actually see any of you again..." She was silent again. "I'm glad to see you again."

She frowned then, a curiosity crossing her mind. "What brings you to this place? How did you find your way to this world? To this beach?"

Soren smiled as Ilserun's manner changed from stunned to questioning, the dourness he remembered so well coming back to the forefront. "Quite honestly, I ran away and went east and then got myself thoroughly lost, spent several years studying with the Lufeine and ended up as second-in-command to a pirate girl from Pravoka, of all places."

He chuckled softly. "As for how we ended up on this beach... well, she decided she needed to relax in the sun and I followed along on a whim." He glanced at the silver-colored suit she wore and smiled wider. "Nice outfit, by the way."

Telira nodded to herself. Soren was doing well on his own, she didn't need to worry about him. Though the sudden arrival of someone she remembered from back in Pravoka drew her attention. She stood and wandered over to where Simon was grousing at the unexpectedness of his arrival at the impromptu beach party.

"Hello, Simon. Good to see you again. I take it that you don't normally go in for these sort of events?" She glanced around at the building and assorted paraphernalia which had been sent with him. "Nice set-up, though."

"ooh, lookie! A beach bungalow! MaybeI can go buy something to drink. I can't keep drinking up yours"

Crucent saw the bungalow appear, complete with a fridge and got up, brushing some sand from her thighs. "Excuse me please"Leaning down she gave Lar a quick peck on the cheek along with a big smile then headed over to the bungalow.

As she approached she saw a young man, a bit on the thin side, with brown eyes and black hair in a very ...enthusiastically colored shirt so she figured he was the proprietor of the place and walked up to him and gave him a friendly smile as she spoke "Hello. I was just wondering if it is at all possible to but something to drink here. And if so, do you have anything like chilled tea?"

While all this was happening Zidane had finally gotten Iki to stop flapping her wings and land in the ocean water, the humanoid dragoness looked around a bit nervously yet joyously for a few moments before she started to splash the water and play with it while smiling. Zidane sat down in the water near her and kept an close eye on the little dragon since she could easily drown while in her current form, after she gotten use to it all she then looked around for a bit to see what there was to play with. Turning to look at Zidane she leaped at him to tackle him into the water while giggling, Zidane let out a slight yelp of surprise but quickly laughed and started to tickle Iki as she squirmed around in his arms trying to get away as he said "I got you now mwahahaha."

It was then that Simon and his building fell into the area causing Iki to let out a squeak of alarm before clinging to Zidane with worry, Zidane sighed and slowly stood up with Iki firmly latched to his chest while looking to see what in the world all of this was about. Walking toward Simon, Telira, and Crucent he then said "Hey buddy, I like a good entrance as much as the next guy. But don't ya think having an entire building appear out of no where is a bit much? Also a drink would be nice though...." Zidane wasn't upset but still wanted to know what was going on, all the while holding Iki in his arms as she shyly looked at the others.

Victor listened to Sin explain why she is here and then said "Ah vell the beach iz a nice place to relax at and I guezz ve vere all lucky to have picked the zame beach Ja? Az for the boy comment......I'll just have to take your vord for it." Victor soon noticed Sin's tail movements and quickly make sure his eyes were not looking downward anytime soon as his face grew a little hot, he then listened to her complain about him being in his pants since it apparently kept him from doing fun things. To that he shook his head and said "Nein nein, I don't need to vhere zhortz to zwim. I never vaz a zhortz person anyway....*shivers slightly when his chest is touched* I can zwim vell enough vith pantz on if I vish."

Victor then saw her sit down and offer for him to do the same to which he agreed and sat beside her with little reason not to, he was just being friendly is all and Sin is rather kind in many different ways. He took a deep breath and then said "Sin if I may ask, vhy do you zeem drawn to me? I am obviously not complaining az you are..........oh blast hov to put it........Damn it all I'll zay it. You are a very enjoyable person to have for company for many reasonz that I am zure I don't need to point out due to hov they are zo obviouz." Victor rubbed the back of his neck a bit as he looked around before continuing "Just I must zeem terribly boring to you, and I don't vant to vaste your time iz all."

While Victor and Zidane were doing their thing Repede by now was bored out of his wits enough to start acting once more and thus got off his now rapidly warming slab of glass and walked over toward Mairi and put on his best child face, if anyone was to ask why he seemed so different he would just say he was grumpy and in a bad mood for getting dumped into the ocean with all his clothes on. Nearing the girl he then said with his less moody and adult sounding voice "Hey excuse me, can I play too? Zidane and Victor are too busy with others to play with me and I'm bored, I promise I'll do my best at the game. Pleeeeasssseeee~" Victor just hoped being a six year old would give him a bit of leverage on the older child, he was doubtful but no harm in trying really.

Leaning in against Victor, Sin listened to his questions and thought a bit before looking up into his eyes and answering "You arrre not borrring to me at all. In fact; yourrr verrry intrrriguing, I don't know why you arrre but I do know I'd like to find out. But if you don't feel like letting me find out, then yes you arrre wasting my time and i kind of hope you arrren't... "

Slipping her tail around his waist she gave a little quick squeeze, trying to relax and comfort him a little as he seemed very uncomfortable. Waiting for his reply, Sin looked over at Cru who was still over by the bungalow.

"Hi again Zid, who's the lucky girl?" Looking at Zidane Cru indicated the little girl that was latched onto him, she was ridiculously cute and, for some reason, she seemed.... familiar wich was weird cause Cru had as far as she knew, never seen this little child before.

Victor tried to relax and calm down from his nervousness and did well even as Sin was very close to him, listening to her he didn't know what she meant by saying he was intriguing but it was a bit flattering. After she finished talking he felt her tail wrap around his waist and squeezed softly for a few moments, he reached down and gave the tail a very light stroke so light it was as if he only touched the very tips of her fur as he did so. He didn't look down at the tail as he then said "Vell you are more than velcomed to try and find out vhat iz intriguing about me, though I doubt vhat you find vill be pleasant. Zoldierz like myself rarely have pleasant zecretz liebchen." Victor's eyes became a bit vacant as he said that while his mind dwelled upon darker times in his life.

While this happened Zidane looked over at Crucent and waved with one hand as his other held Iki so she wouldn't fall off of him, he heard the question and looked at Iki for a moment before smirking slightly as he said "Oh man I forgot to mention that I have an daughter huh? Well this is her, her name is Claire." Zidane looked down at Iki who by now was staring at him like he was nuts, after he smirked at her she figured this was a prank so she went along with it and looked over her shoulder at Cru shyly. Zidane then said "Come on Claire, say hello to my friend Crucent. She is a very nice lady." Iki nodded her head and then said in a small voice "Hi.." She quickly looked away and hid her face against Zidane's neck as Zidane said "She is really shy around new people." Zidane snickered mentally as he was going to see how far this prank could be taken.

Raising her eyebrows in surprise, Crucent looked at the young girl and said "your daughter?!?! wow! Nice to meet you Claire." Looking at Zidane again she said "She's very pretty."

Wondering quietly if there was a mother to go along with the child, Crucent bit her lip in thought as she looked at the girl once more. She would have to try and find that out, and hopefully soon, because if there was, she certainly wasn't gonna try and have any kind of relationship with him apart from a friend one. He'd never mentioned his daughter before, or a partner, so it was a bit weird. Genomes clearly had a completely different biology to Elvaans, as he would have had to be very young himself when he had her. Deciding that she'd just keep things friendly for now, she asked "How old is she?"

Zidane snickered a bit as he was enjoying how Crucent had taken the bait and as she got all excited and talked to Iki the little girl looked over her shoulder and smiled a slight bit at the pretty comment, she then said "Thank you....Cwucent" Iki moved around in Zidane's arm so that she could climb up onto his shoulders and sit up there, he let her and used his hands to hold her legs so she couldn't fall off him backwards. Zidane then heard the age question and Iki said "I only thwee years old." Zidane then said "Ya she growing up faster than a human would, it normal for my kind to age quickly to our adult stage." Zidane kind fibbed once more there as it wasn't because Iki was a Genome that she was like this, but because Dragons are known to age quickly to ensure they don't get killed while in their smaller forms.

Zidane then looked up at Iki then back at Crucent before saying "So Clarie you want to play with Crucent for a little bit?" Iki thought about for a second causing her to cross her arms and scrunch up her face in thought before saying "Okay" Zidane looked at Crucent to see if she would agree as well since hey no point forcing it on her.

Smiling at Claire, Crucent nodded and said "I'd love to!"

Reaching out her hand to the girl, Crucent looked at her again and asked "So, what would you like to do? make a sand castle, or go swimming? or we could take a walk along the beach and look for pretty seashells if you want to do that instead...? Glancing over at Sin and Victor quickly, she was a little surprised to see that Sin was actually behaving, she hadn't jumped all over the guy yet wich was VERY unusual for the Mithra.

Giving Victor a sideways glance, Sin felt the quick stroke on her tail, and it gave her goosebumps but she didn't mind and instead said quietly "well... perrhaps you can starrrt by telling me a bit about yourrrself, I don't know anything about you..."

Shrugging her shoulders, she continued "forrr instance, do you have any brrrotherrrs and sisterrrs? I have none. Mithrrras tend to only have one kitling each time they arrre prrregnant."

Zidane lifted Iki off his shoulders and gently sat her down on the ground so she could stand, Iki soon held onto Crucent's hand and listened to the suggestions before saying "I wanna play tag~." Zidane snickered a bit and said "Oh sure you can fly and tag us while we have to run around huh? Sounds fair as can be." "Not my fault daddy can't fly and I wouldn't cheat so nya~" said Iki as she stuck her tongue out at Zidane who just laughed a bit and said "Remind me again why I adopted you?" "Cause you luv me~" "Yep I remember that now, you got me with that one Claire." said Zidane with a snicker as he reached down and ruffled Iki's hair which caused her to let out a squeal of joyful annoyance while trying to swat Zidane's hand away.

Victor heard the question about himself and chuckled slightly before he said "Vell liebchen you never asked until nov, zo I vill try to answer any questionz you feel the need to have answered okay?" Victor then heard the sibling question and mentally cringed a bit but outwardly he kept a stoic face before saying "Nein I do not have any ziblingz az my mother died giving birth to me, zo I have been an only child and vaz my father'z most preciouz treasure. One of the major reasonz vhy I am still breathing, he did all he could to make zure I vould be zafe.....I vish I could of told him hov thankful I am for all he haz done for me one last time before I vaz pulled to these vorldz. But I zuppose I vill have all the time in the vorld to talk to him once I have grown old and pazz away Ja? I'll have to make zure to bring lotz of beer too, he and I loved having drinking contest between ourselvez......never did beat him though." Victor smiled slightly at the last part and chuckled at the memories of how drunk he and his father would get at times.

Smiling a little Crucent watched the pair of them joking with eachother, but quickly broke into a grin when Claire said what she wanted to do.

"Play Tag huh? fine by me, but I hardly ever LOOSE! just as she said the last word, she tapped Zidane's arm and said "Tag, your it!" then immidiately started running away from them both to avoid getting caught, laughing to herself as she ran effortlessly along the beach.

Resting her head on Victors shoulder, Sin stretched her legs out in front of her as she watched Crucent play with Zidane and the child and murmured "Yourrr fatherrr sounds like a good man. I'm sorrry you arrren't able to talk to him anymorrre. Is therrre no way you can rrreturrrn to your worrrld, even forrr just a shorrrt visit to see him again?"

Zidane didn't expect Cru to sneak attack him with that so after she tagged him he looked at his arm then back at cru for a moment before saying "Oh so that is how you wanna play it huh???" Zidane quickly turned to tag Iki but by now the little girl had used her wings to rapidly put some distance between herself and Zidane before landing on the ground to run off in the opposite direction. Zidane stood where he was in mild shock as he adjusted to this information, he then quickly turned toward Cru's direction and ran after her as fast as he could. His body leaning forward while his tail helped keep his balance and steer him when he turned, he was rapidly catching up to her as he said "As much as I enjoy watching your ass I'm closing in on you Cru." "Watch out Cru he wight behind you!" yelled Iki as she watched from a safe distance.

Victor smiled softly down at Sin as she rested her head on his shoulder and absentmindedly placed a hand on her thigh, his eyes too busy watching Zidane and Iki play with Crucent to notice what he did. He then said "Ja my father vaz a kind man vho vaz tough but fair, he vaz vell respected by many. Az for visiting my vorld again......I do not knov, it zeemz to be zealed off from these vorldz for zome reason." As Victor talked to Sin and chatted the low rumble of something drawing closer could be heard, it was hard to hear but it was slowly growing in volume. It was the Invincible slowly approaching as it was finally catching up at its current speed, Victor didn't look back but then said "Hmm zeemz the airship haz caught up, I vonder if they fixed the defect in the portal device by nov."

Looking over her shoulder, Crucent saw Zidane chasing after her just as she heard Claire call for her to look out, so she spun around, wich left her running towards him instead of from him. Then as she got closer, she started going faster and just as she was within reach did a somersault straight over him, landing with a thud behind him and ran off as fast as she could straight towards Claire.

"that's cheating Crrru" Laughing softly at Crus little trick, Sin had also heard the low rumble and saw the airship approach. "is that thing yourrrs? it's rrreally imprrressive. What was wrrrong with it?" Looking at it, it was so unlike any airship Sin had ever seen back home that she could hardly believe it really was a ship at all and not a gigantic castle instead, wich, for all intents and purposes, is what she was looking at.

Zidane didn't expect Cru to suddenly turn around and rush toward him so he slowed down and was skidding to a halt by the time Cru somersaulted over his head, he had ducked slightly to avoid getting knocked in the face by a foot so when she ran off after landing he looked over his shoulder at her and said "You girl are insane.....I respect that in a woman." With that he turned around fully and charged after them but only after casting a haste spell on himself to give him a burst of speed to help him catch her this time, when Iki watched that she had a look of awe when she saw Crucent somersault over Zidane but after seeing the haste spell get cast she quickly took off as fast as she could. "NO FAIR USING MAGIC DADDY!" yelled Iki as she used her wings to make up for her short legs to fly over the sand close to the ground, she wasn't cheating just leveling the playing field while Zidane tore through the beach after Crucent as he wanted to get her back for her little trick.

Victor let out a whistle of appreciation at Cru's move as it was pretty impressive what she did, he then heard the Sin's question and said "Nien it iz not mine but Zidane'z actually, zuppose to have been made by the zame extinct race that made the Genomes. Called the Invincible and the problem iz the portal device drainz a lot of energy out of the machine, it just required a few adjustmentz zo that it vould vork better iz all." As Victor talked with Sin the Airship landed a few yards away from the beach at the tree line and started to offload the people on board, the genome crew were teleported out wearing single piece swim suits and were uniform more or less as they haven't learned to be more diverse yet. Unfortunately for Victor another being was teleported out and she was not as....docile as the genomes were, it was his Nekomata named Shurelia and she was making a bee line straight toward her owner.

Victor was actually quite relaxed by now but soon enough he heard a loud female meow from behind himself and said "Verdammen sie alle..." before he was knocked to the ground by his busty and overly affectionate pet, she quickly started to nuzzle him and purr much to his discomfort as he struggled to get her off him while her tail just swished in the air with joy.

When the ten female genomes came they were far less animated and walked almost roboticly, they looked around for a few moments then sat on the sand and watched the others with blank stares. The strange part was how alike they look as they were all the same height, body shape, all have short blond hair, and all of them have blue eyes that seemed slightly......vacant for some reason. Zidane noticed them and waved his tail at them as he ran by causing them to wave their hands all at the same time in perfect sync, truly they were of a different breed than Zidane was and he wished it was not so.

Getting a bit winded as she had been running so fast for some time now, Crucent saw Claire fly away along the ground, making her grin at the girls notion of 'no flight'. Looking back she saw Zidane coming after her even faster then before, so, having no other option left, she ran into the water and dove headfirst into the waves if only to cool down a little. Resurfacing she gasped for air as she turned in the water to see where Zidane was now, pushing her hair out of her eyes.

As Victor suddenly got pounced upon by something big and female, Sin got pushed over to the side so by the time she got up again, he was beeing cuddleattacked by what seemed like another female that looked only a little like herself.
More then a little shocked she asked increduously "Who is this?"
Brushing the sand off her as best she could, Sin tried her best not to go at the other womans throat, at least not until she found out what was going on, but her tail was swiinging back and forth rapidly all the same, a sure sign that she was angry.

Iki was happy that Zidane was targeting Cru at the moment as she knew that while he is charged up with the haste spell he would be very difficult to get away from without taking to the sky, after making sure she was safe enough she sat on the beach and watched how the Zidane vs Crucent match would play out. Zidane didn't falter when Crucent dove into the ocean to get away as he quickly followed suit only moments after, while she was busy looking around trying to find him he was able to grab her from behind and hold on tight as he then kissed her on the cheek and said "Looks like I finally caught you my nimble minx." Zidane was quick to let go of Crucent soon enough and got out of the water before she could get him back, making a mad dash toward Iki he stood near her and waited to see what Crucent would do.

Victor by now had finally gotten enough of his balance back to get himself up off the ground and sat upright while Shurelia nuzzled his neck while hugging him from behind, after hearing Sin's question he then said "Thiz vould be Shurelia, a Nekomata that I vaz able to tame.......zhe iz.....overly affectionate." Shurelia had stopped nuzzling Victor by now and was glaring at Sin, her eyes narrowing before letting out a low growl of warning as her tail was not swaying any more but swishing behind her showing she too was no longer in a good mood.

Victor quickly realized what was going on and turned his head to look at Shurelia and said in a firm tone "Shurelia Sie verhält sich gerade jetzt, Sin ist ein Freund, und Sie werden sie als solche zu behandeln. Mache ich mich deaktivieren?" This caused the Nekomata's ears to fold down slightly as she knew that tone, after looking around for a few moments she nodded her head and sat down on the opposite side of Victor from Sin and kept her paws to herself. She would glance at Sin from time to time showing she distrusted the woman but she would behave, Victor sighed slightly and reached up to pet Shurelia's head before saying to Sin "I am zorry about that, due to hov zmart nekomataz are zhe iz hard to control."

As Zid emerged holding her and kissing her, Crucent couldn't help but smile as he called her a minx. Wathcing him head quickly back to the shore, she swam slowly after him, enjoying the warm water. Reaching the shallows, she stood up, water running down her body as she squeezed her hair dry before walking back up to the both of them. "So, does that mean I'm it then?"

Smiling she sat down in front of the pair and using a hand ruffled her hair to get more water droplets out of it, making sure some of them hit Claire.

"Hello Shurrrrelia. a pleasurrrre to meet you I'm surrre."

Growling alot more then required, Sin knew she wouldn't manage to restrain herself from attacking the Neko-whatever she was, so she leaned down, gave Victor a kiss on the cheek and said "I'm sorrry, if I stay herrre therrre will only be fighting, and a beach isn't the place forrr that. I have to go. But I'd rrreally like to see you again if I may, so don't be a strrranger, okay?"

Glaring at Shurelia, she gave Victor a little longer more soft kiss on his lips before withdrawing and going back to her own beachtowel where she laid down, on her stomach, tail clearly twitching in anger and tried to get comfortable so she could get some more tanning done.

Zidane didn't mind being wet so he was okay with letting the water drip from his hair and down his body though his tail swished and jerked trying to get water off it, after a while he got tired of it acting up and grabbed it to help wring some water out of it gently. After letting go he watched Crucent walk up to him and Iki before saying "Yep you are it this time around.....also no grabbing my tail to tag me. I don't want it to get jerked or anything...." Zidane said the tail part in a serious manner meaning he was actually fully against his tail getting grabbed, Iki snickered a bit at Zidane's comment and didn't mind the water hitting her at all. She just shook her head a bit to get the droplets off her face before she ran off to get a head start before using her wings to fly a few feet off the ground, Zidane saw this and quickly moved away from Crucent as he wasn't getting blind sided this time around.

Victor could tell this was not going well the moment he heard the growling sound in Sin's voice and Shurelia was keen on picking up on it too, this caused the fur on her tail to stand on ends as she showed her long sharp claws in warning to Sin. Victor only sighed deeply during this all as he wished the two would both behave and not do this when he just wants to have a calm day, soon enough he was a bit surprised to be kissed on the cheek by Sin which caused his face to redden slightly.

Shurelia let out a low growl of disapproval at that while Victor listened to what Sin said before saying "I vish you did not have to go but if you are zure then I von't ztop-" Victor was cut off in the middle of his sentence when he was kissed on the lips by Sin as his face was now really red, seeing that Shurelia hissed at Sin and bared her fangs before possessively grabbing onto Victor's arm and held it to her. Victor didn't notice though as he was too busy trying to reboot after the rather pleasant kiss from Sin, it was only after Shurelia licked his ear that he snapped out of it and jerked away from the nekomata as he blushed profusely at this. He then said "You did thiz knowingly didn't you..." Shurelia just looked around for a few moments before pointing at herself with one of her claws as he then said "Don't play innocent vith me......I am no fool, Shurelia I have made it quite clear that ve vould only be friendz."

Shurelia just crossed her arms and mumbled under her breath with varying mews and meows that only Victor could understand, this caused him to pitch the bridge of his nose and said "Sin iz not vhy I am zaying thiz and you knov it, I told you thiz many timez before I ever met Sin............Shurelia I knov you are vorried that I vill abandon you if I get involved vith a voman but it von't happen I promise. You are my friend and I do not abandon friendz, but you have to behave." He reached out and scratched Shurelia behind her ear causing her to relax and lay on the ground and purr like a overgrown cat as the German soldier tried to think of how best to get both of the felines to be on neutral terms with one another.

Listening to Zidane's request Crucent nodded "fine, I promise, no tailgrabbing."

Getting up, she saw Claire heading off quickly helped by her flying ability. Grinning to herself, she started chasing after the girl and despite Claire's 'non-flying' Crucent was gaining on her fast. "flight or not my girl, you.... are... IT!" Nudging her on her shoulder, Crucent stopped abruptly, then started sprinting in the opposite direction for all she was worth, enjoying the game immensely. Glancing a little further up the beach she saw that Sin had left Victor with another cat woman, and she was now back on her beach towel, her tail still flicking irritably.

Wondering if everything was okay, Crucent signalled to Zidane and Claire that she was taking a small break, and slowed down to a walk, heading over to Sin. Speaking more quietly she sat down on her own towel and looked at Sin for a little while before she said "Hi kitty, is everything allright?"

Turning her head, Sin looked at her with her green eyes and replied "I don't know Crrru" Sighing a little she got up on her elbows and continued "As you know I met Victorrr a while ago, and we starrrted talking, and I think I rrreally like him. Then I see him herrre today and we begin to chat but then out of nowherrre his stupid pet appearrrs and is verrry posessive overrr him. She is also a feline, and we don't sharrre well. Now I don't know what to do... I don't think I've everrr felt like this beforrre..."

Looking as glum as only a Mithra could, Crucent tried to cheer Sin up a little and replied " Sin... I think you might be in love kitty... It was bound to happen sooner or later anyway with all the guys you've met over the years."
Looking up she saw Zidane and Claire a little ways off from themselves and continued "But your not alone..."
"oh rrreally?"

Grinning at Sin Cru giggled a little as she said "yeah. I think I'm falling for the Genome."

Bursting out in laughter, Sin all but clapped her hands in joy "Crru, that is wonderrrful news! does he feel the same way about you?"

Looking a little more thoughtful now, Crucent's memory flashed back on all that had happened since she'd first met Zidane and she said after a while "I honestly don't know if he feels the same way. I thought he did, but... it seems he has an adopted daughter all of a sudden, wich is strange cause he's never talked about her before.... and as for the girl having a possible mother, well, your guess is as good as mine really, but I don't think so..."

"Well arrren't we a lovely pairrr? one eterrrnal flirrrt that's fallen in love forrr the firrst time, and the otherrr having fallen forr a guy with a kid!"

Giggling Sin sat up again and reached over to a wickerbasket that they had put in the shade when they arrived and took out two bottles of cold water. Before opening her own she gave Cru the other. " I guess all we can do is wait and see how it all turrrns out for us." Nodding Cru opened her waterbottle and took a long sip from it before putting the cork back on again

"I guess your right" "of courrrse I am, I'm a genius rrrememberrr"
Winking Sin grinned as she laid back down again, leaving Cru to her own thoughts.

...Simon, being unused to parties like this, was lost in the strangeness.

The elfin woman and the strange man who'd come to address him suddenly seemed to find themselves otherwise occupied.

...Of course, this was a good thing. Simon's heart was hardened by war; seeing the antics of the small group of what he could only assume were would-be lovebirds by their antics... ...It served to soften him if for a moment.


"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYY!!!!!" Shouted the overly excited voice of the barista, Naomi. "I'm gonna put some burgers and stuff on! What's everyone want?"

Owner, who had also spontaneously appeared, was seen floating in a Chocobo innertube off-shore, sipping some sort of neon beverage.


...Simon had to chuckle, at the random events going on around him.

"You're right, Telira. But, sometimes, you just gotta say 'what the f*ck'."

Simon, then, went to the fridge, opening it, and smiled. The ingredients to his favorite drink were inside.

[Me and Cru got tired of waiting so we just interacting with one another, not like many people were talking to our chars anyway XD.]

Zidane watched as Crucent went after Iki with all her speed which caused the little girl to squeal in surprise as her tiny wings tried to push her forward at a faster rate but to no avail, feeling Crucent touch her shoulder Iki stopped in the air and turned around as fast as she could to catch up but before she even had a chance to get Crucent or Zidane back a time out was called by Crucent. Zidane and Iki agreed to it and sat on the beach to rest for a few moments to catch their breath before Zidane convinced Iki to come with him over to where Crucent and her feline friend were at, smiling at the two ladies he sat down next to Crucent as Iki climbed into his lap and rested her back against his chest. He smiled down at his would be daughter and ruffled her hair a bit before Iki looked over at Crucent and said "Cwucent, will you be my mommy?"

Zidane didn't have anything to do with Iki saying that and quickly froze up and blushed deeply as he knew what was implied by Iki's comment, he didn't correct Iki though as Zidane did like Crucent though he wasn't sure if he was ready for THAT level of closeness but dating and going out he could handle. It was then that he noticed Sin was looking over at Victor every now and then and seemed a bit....down so in an effort to change the subject away from what Iki said he spoke up "So seems kitty likes the rare German spiked fin sniper huh.....well if it helps Shurelia is like that because she scared you going to take Victor away and she will be stuck with being alone in the forests again like she was when we first found her. I think she likes being domesticated and hates and fears the very thought of being abandoned, just find a way to get it into her thick skull that you won't force her away and I think she will be less grabby about you getting near him. Just my two cents on the situation though so eh.......do what you will with the information." After saying that Zidane would still not look at Cru directly s he rubbed the back of his neck nervously and had a very faint blush on his face, clearly tipping off that something was up.

Stunned by Claire's question Crucent blushed heavily, too surprised to speak.
Sin however burst out in laughter, quickly covering her mouth with her hand, but shaking noticeably all the same.

"eeeh....well... "

Thinking it over seriously, she tried to find a reply that fitted as she looked at the little girl, even tho the question had shaken her up very much.

"honestly Claire, yes I'd like to, but it's not something grown-ups can just do straight away." Not daring to look at Zidane she continued "it's something they have to talk about first, before they decide to live together and be a couple. Now, I like your dad, alot, but... I don't know if he likes me back, so I'd like to know that bit first, before we decide on me becoming your mom or not."

Sin in the meantime had listened to what Zidane had said about Victor and Shurelia, and nodded.

"yeees.... I think I'd like that. I don't want herrr to feel abandoned or chased off.... thank you Zidane."

Zidane listened to what Crucent said closely as he was curious what was on her mind and after hearing that she liked him a lot he was happy though felt bad about not being too clear on how he feels about her, before he could say anything though Iki spoke up and said "Oh that easy daddy likes you a bunch, he won't shut up sometimes about you. Gets so bad at times Wepede and Victor scream at him to sto-" By then Zidane's face was red as could be while his face showed slight anger and annoyance as he tried to smile while covering Iki's mouth with his hand firmly. He then said "That's enough Claire.......you made your....YOWCH!" Zidane jerked his hand away from Iki's mouth as she had bitten him on the palm of his hand rather hard, shaking his hand slightly while Iki smirked a bit while in his lap. Zidane by now was glaring down at Iki before he pinched her left cheek and tugged on it slightly, she let out a pained whine of protest while trying to get her cheek away as Zidane was getting her back for the bite and the blabbing.

Victor looked over at the group by now and could see Zidane and Iki were going at it at the moment while Crucent looked strangely embarrassed for some reason, he then looked at Sin and was admiring her beauty from afar as his eyes were very good so he could see details even at great distances and they weren't even that far away. By now Shurelia was reduced to a purring pile of happiness that had her head laid beside his leg and was curled up beside him, her tail swishing back and forth while his scratched her ears in just the right way......seems Victor was good with his hands.

OOC: I split the thread into this original and its sister, called [Event] Beach Party Zid and Cru Part so as not to flood this one. our chars are still on the Beach, but this was only to get some plot going for them. Yo may all commence posting here again.

Getting tackled by Iki, Crucent fell over from the impact and laughed happily as Iki nuzzled her stomach since it tickled quite a bit. Grabbing the girl she held her up, still with a smile on her face as she said "I guess this means that yes Iki, I *may* be your 'mom' someday, if the date goes well"

Sitting up she sat Iki on her lap and continued "wich begs the question, when and where will that be? I'm basically ready whenever you might be..."

Looking down at the ocean, she noticed Sin and Victor were still talking, but this was a beach after all, so getting up she gently let go of Iki then said "I'm gonna go for a swim, I need to cool off a bit. Anybody care to join me?" She then walked down past Sin and Victor, into the warm waters and waded until the water was up to her thighs before she dove in and turned as she floated back up to the surface so she was drifting lazily on her back.

Listening to Victors calm voice, Sin let her gard down completely, but didn't say anything as he told her to go after that person she wanted. It was a bit too soon just yet. Instead she nodded and murmured "Thank you Victorrr, I think I will, in time."

Smiling to herself she watched him go away and said so quietly that he couldn't hear her" I will, even if you might get embarrrassed at the attention you'll be getting."

Getting up, she saw Cru had gone into the ocean and decided to join her to take her mind off things so she ran into the sea then plunged headfirst into the clear water, taking a few long strokes before emerging close to Crucent and taking a deep breath as she pushed her long black hair away from her face, smiling happily once more.

After spending some time in the water, they both felt alot more relaxed and happy, they were however also getting very hungry and tired by now.

Heading back up to their towels, they dried off quickly, packed up theit belongings, then Cru and Sin went hom to Vana'diel again through the Multiplex once more.
