Introduction to Vana'Diel (Zidane only)

Zidane nodded his head a bit before taking control from the ship so he could handle the more delicate works, he turned the wheel till they were going toward the Port and sure enough was directing the airship to the only spot that seemed ready to take such a large ship into dock. Pulling a few levers as the genomes in the control room pressed different buttons and controls the airship slowly descended down onto the plaza at a pace that would give anyone plenty of time to move out of the way. As the airship started to land people were pointing and staring at the odd ship since it was obviously not something they were use to seeing in their world, when the ship finally landed fully the power system started to shut down as did the engine.

After it was fully shut off the controls for the ship started to lock down as the steering wheel and the levers Zidane used retracted into the ship's floor while the controls the girls were on became covered over by a barrier of sorts. Zidane led Cru out of the ship and after the last genome walked out a barrier was thrown up in the doorway of the control room locking it up tight, the further they walked the more Cru would see barriers and locked doors in the ship as the other five genomes joined the group.

Zidane led Cru to a special pad near the middle of the ship toward the left side and stood on it with her before they were teleported out, the rest of the crew came out in due time till all were outside and the ship finished locking itself down. Zidane then said "I am very serious on keeping people from stealing that Airship....."

Giggling a little she replied "so i see"
Looking around she threw open her arms, as she smiled happily and said "welcome to Jeuno! This is the Port, and if we head over to the stairwell, ill show you to the shopping section wich is Lower Jeuno. There should be no attempts at stealing from your crew here as its a very well behaved population that lives here. This city will also become the new world leader seat, as it's the biggest one and the most centrally located one. "

Turning she headed towards the stairs and leapt up the steps happily as she was delighted to be back in Jeuno once more.

Zidane watched as Cru threw her arms out in a really exaggerate way to show how proud she was of this city it seemed, Zidane listened to her explain all the stuff to do in the city before he then said "Well where to first Cru, you are my tour guide.......my sexy tour guide but I digress." Zidane snickered and shrugged before running to catch up with Cru and follow beside her as his tail swished behind him rapidly in excitement.

All the while his crew had walked off to do their thing breaking up into groups of two so they could watch one another back, while Cru did say the place was better behaved there are always exceptions to every little rule in this world.

As they entered Lower Jeuno, Crucent had a big smile on her face, waving to people she knew as she held Zids hand and walked down the main avenue that made up this part of the city with the Auction House beeing the main feature and biggest building there. All around them people were talking and laughing, peddling their wars and bartering. There were Big galkas in armor, humes in elegant outfits, Mithrans running quickly about and tarutarus arguing with Goblins over the price of magic potions.

"oh, I know, let's go see Bluffnix, he's a goblin thats fairly friendly and he usually has some very intresting wares, not the regular stuff you see at the Auction House" Leading Zidane along the cobblestoned ground Crucent went to the local Inn. Inside the low-ceilinged smoke filled house, Crucent went into the far corner where what appeared to be no more then a pile of rags was occupying a chair.

"Hey Bluff." Sitting down Crucent nodded at the ragpile and out of it emerged a big gray oval nose with two rows of holes going from top to bottom of it and right behind was a pair big black eyes. "hi Crucent. Who's this?"

"It's my date, Zidane, he's not from around here"

"So I see, so I see..." Extending its hand so Zid could shake it it peered at him carefully "Nice to meet you mister. A friend of Cru's is a friend of mine." Leaning back in its chair it smiled "Sso, where are you from m'boy? and how did you end up here. Give me a good story and i'll give you one of my treasures for free."

Zidane followed Cru around faithfully as she showed him around her apparently favorite city, and as she waved to the other people he simply kept his mouth shut since he didn't know anyone here and rather not deal with crap. It was then that Cru said for them to meet some goblin name Bluffnix, to that Zidane just nodded his head a bit as he said "Sure though I got to say...odd to go see a goblin....normally fighting the buggers back on Gaia."

Zidane was then led to some Inn which was pretty full of smoke at the moment that caused his throat to burn slightly due to that, after adjusting to it though he looked at a pile of rags in a chair that Cru was oddly enough talking too. After saying Bluff though a nose poked out of the rags along with some eyes, Zidane arched an eyebrow at this as apparently these goblins are different from the ones on Gaia in more than just personality but also physical traits.

Soon enough the two started to talk a bit before he was pulled into the convo by way of the goblin saying hello to him and offering a handshake, Zidane reached out and shook the offered hand happily before saying "Good to meet you too Bluffnix, call me Zidane or Zid though instead of mister. I'm a little too young to be called that by anyone just yet." After the hello's and hand shakes the little creature leaned back in its chair and started to talk to ask him some questions.

Zidane rubbed his chin a slight bit as he then said "Where I am from hmmm......well you see that is a long story but here's how it goes...." Zidane started to retell to Bluffnix all about how he was born on a now dead planet called Terra, yet lived his life on another living planet called Gaia, and he soon started to give a wide array of details for the goblin about a lot of stuff since he was more or less retelling his old adventures with his friends before all this since he had to for all the information to really make any sense.

Sitting on the edge of its chair Bluffnix laughed hoarsely as Zidane talked, hearing about his adventures. When he finished at last Bluffnix grinned widely "I see, I see. You've had a very intresting life for someone so young of years still. I envy you."

Leaning back in his chair he continued " but it was a good story, and I always keep my word I do, don't I just.... " turning a little he grabbed a sack from the corner and rummaged around deeply in it "Heeeere you are, it's not very practical but... it's special allright." Handing Zidane a small black box with intricate carvings on the lid Bluffnix gestured a little as he said "That there is a pretty thing. Comes from another world or so im told.... Gaia I think it's name is. At least thats what the goblin who traded it to me said... It's a dagger, according to that goblin it's called a Gladius or summat... You can have it. Cause noone from this world will have it, they think its too soft metal for their tastes."

Zidane smirked a bit with pride as he heard how Bluffnix was impressed and envious of his life though Zidane would admit some parts he wish he could trade off, but hearing that Bluffnix was going to give him a reward Zidane couldn't help but be curious about what it could be.

Sure enough the goblin gave him a box that inside held a dagger that he was all too familiar with, Zidane picked up the weapon and gave it a few twirls and slashes before he said "I used one of these in my adventure at one point, pretty handy weapon actually though I wonder where its sister had gone since normally these weapons comes in pairs. But eh I'll find it sooner or later, thanks for the dagger Bluffnix it brings back some memories actually." Zidane put the weapon back in its box and then reached out and shook Bluffnix's hand in thanks for it but then figured he would show Bluffnix one of his weapons just to be nice.

Drawing Mura and Masa he held the dual Katana up and then said "Here I want you to take a look at these, figure you might like the quality of the two. Just please be careful of the blade, it got a nasty venom infused into it won't kill you but makes the part they cut or stab extra sensitive to pain. Simple shallow cuts would feel like deep slashes in one's body, the two even join into one weapon with an entirely different function." Zidane figured a bit of this would help Bluffnix learn a bit about Gaian weaponry.

Nearly falling off its chair in surprise as Zidane handed over his weapons, Bluffnix took them gently in his hands and examined them in Awe.
"These are clearly not like anything I've seen on this planet, but..." examining them closer as it held the dual katanas right up to its nose it continued "I din't expect them to be either. They are wery well made, very sturdy yet light, efficent for their use so they are." Handing them back to Zidane it continued "Now I know you are not from our World. Adventurers here learn very quickly to never give away their weapons, especially not us goblins as my fellow wilder brethren tend to take anything off a fallen person after a fight and hoard it for sale later on."

Winking to Cru with one of its big black eyes it chuckled again "You'd best take care of this young'un Miss, other Goblins arn't so nice as me and will most likely return his weapons pointed end first if you catch my drift."
Making a face she answered "I'm not too worried about other Gobins Bluff, I'm more concerned about the Mithrans, we're gonna head off to Norg later and you can see why the will be intrested in him in Kazham."

Laughing harder then ever the Gobling slapped his thigh as he clearly found this hilarious "Well then I wish you the best of luck in getting out of Kazham in one piece laddie, you'll be a marked man you will, with a tail like that."
Wiping a tear from its eye he giggled a bit and said "...or perhaps its the Lady here who will have her work cut out for her, defending her property. Either way Cru; thank you for brightening up my day significantly by taking him here. In return, I'll spread the word to the Goblins to not bother you on your trip, but as far as the Mithrans are concerned my dear, I have no treasure or trick to give you that will help."

"It's fine Bluff, I'll keep an eye on them while we're there. It was good to see you again." Standing up Crucent said "But now it's getting late and since we missed the boat to Kazham today, we'll stay the night here then catch the next boat out tomorrow."

"Well, stop by another time Missy, I'll be here"
Turning to Zidane one last time the Goblin held him back a little until Crucent had left the table and begun to make her way towards the Inn's door.
Leaning in so close his nose was right up against Zidanes, all pretence of niceness gone Bluffnix grabbed Zidanes' arm with surprising strength and speed as it said in a stern voice "I'll be watching you with intrest boy, you seem to have a talent for excitement. That is fine, However the Lady seems to have taken quite a shine to you so, be good to the girl, she has many protectors she doesn't know of in this world. We all like her fine as the first Leader and we dont want her upset. Just letting you know..."

Releasing its vice-like grip on Zidane's arm all of a sudden it waved him off as it sat back in its chair again, for all intents and purposes looking like a pile of rags once more.

Zidane shrugged a bit as he heard Bluffnix say that people normally don't give their weapons away, to that he simply said "I'm a thief myself Bluffnix, if you tried to use those against me I just take them back and return the favor. Well that or use my other daggers to do the job, anyway if Cru calls you friend and trust you then hey I should trust you as well no?" Zidane then heard what Bluffnix said about Cru taking care of him which made the genome cross his arms and brood a bit, though to most it just looked like a pout as his tail stiffened up

It was then that Cru talked about how she was more worried about Mithrans instead of goblins, this caused Zidane to tilt his head to the side slightly and when Bluffnix started to laugh really hard the genome's head was tilted a full ninety degrees to the right while his tail formed a question mark shape behind his back. After the two finished their talk though Zidane just opted to ask later since he was getting a bit tired himself, but when he made a move to follow Cru out of the building Bluffnix's sudden desire to grab his hand forced the genome to stop and look at the goblin.

Zidane listened to the Goblin's warning and as his nose pressed against Zidane's the genome's eyes shifted from blue to a red color as he felt highly insulted that Bluffnix thought Zidane would ever hurt Cru intentionally. Zidane then said to the goblin "I understand Bluffnix....but don't ever imply I would be cold heart-ed enough to want to harm Cru in any way.....she is my friend and I always protect and hep my friends." only after Bluffnix let him go and the goblin went back to its rags did Zidane simmer down.

He walked out of the Inn as his tail was rather frayed and whipped about angrily as his eyes were flickering from red to blue, Zidane had only one button that really honestly pisses him off when pressed. That button is to imply Zidane is the type to hurt people intentionally and with malice, this was due to how against his nature such actions are and highly insults him. When he reached Cru he forced himself to calm down as much as possible with his eyes fixing on blue, and his tail worked to stop lashing around in the air behind him. When he reached her he said "Sorry Bluffnix wanted to talk to me about something before I left, lead the way Cru."

"Oh okay" Looking at his tail Crucent decided not to question whatever the goblin had felt like talking about with Zidane in private; it seemed to upset him a bit.

"Well, like I said it's getting late, so I suggest we get some sleep and leave for Kazham tomorrow" Heading back to the main stairs of Jeuno, she walked a few steps up and turned towards an opening in the walls then walked along a well-lit bricked tunnel. "This is the way to the rental houses that Adventurers use. Somehow they are all linked to each Adventurers own home in one of the smaller towns like Windhurst, I think the Moogles set it up. So that when you walk into your place here, you can still access all your personal belongings at home.

Reaching a door at the end of the tunnel Crucent unlocked the wooden door and stepped through.

"Well here we are. Mooglian, are you here?" Emerging from a hole in the wall came a small moogle floating on its wings. "Of course I am, Kupo. And who is this person?" Looking at Zidane it examined him carefully.

"This is my friend Zidane, can you find him a place to sleep for the night?We're just gonna sleep here until tomorrow instead of the new place, since I still haven't gotten the furniture in yet. Then we'll leave for Kazham."

"Sorry Kupo, no can do. Have you forgotten this is a 1 bedroom apartment? He'll have to sleep in your bed or get his own house for the night." Shrugging its tiny shoulders and causing it's pompon to bob wildly up and down, it turned around and floated off to its tiny cave in the wall and fell asleep again.

"Drat, I did forget that bit..." looking at Zid she said "I guess we'll just have to share a bed for now then if that's okay with you?"
Walking into her bedroom in the back of the house Cru pointed to the bed in question. It was a Queen-sized one; in solid oak, with a feather mattress and pillows all around.
"I'll behave if you do"

She then went to the bathroom and changed out of her armor and into a nightgown then returned and slipped under the covers.

Zidane was grateful that cru did not try to question him on why he looked upset and so he listened to what she had to say, nodding his head a bit he then said "Sure I don't mind taking a rest for the day before going off to the other place, just one second okay?" Zidane got out his Q Phone from one of his pants pockets and had the device call the Genome crew, he soon told them to return to the Airship for some well deserved rest as they were staying here the night. After doing so he put his phone back in his pocket to let it sleep, the little phone had already changed from its normal outfit to Pj's with a pillow to cuddle up against to sleep.

Zidane then followed Cru to the place she was talking about and started to look around a bit at all the stuff and wonder a bit how the moogles had set it up like this, back on Gaia the little fuzzballs had issues just getting the mail delivered in an orderly fashion. Shrugging a bit at the thought he just figured it didn't matter, sure enough though they reached the place that Cru wanted to be at and walked inside. After doing so Cru called out for someone moogle named Mooglina and soon said fuzzball came out of a hole in the wall, after a bit of talking back and forth it seemed that there was only one bed and for some reason that was an issue. Zidane though simply smirked a bit and then said to Cru "Me misbehave? Parish the thought my dear, I am an good nature angel remember? Hehehehe~"

Zidane followed Cru to the bedroom and as she went off to change into a nightgown, he just striped down to his boxers and got in the bed. When she came in and got in the bed too he quickly moved in close to her and hugged her warmly, he snuggled his face against her and said "I could get use to sleeping like this....."

"'Good natured angel'? Laughing Cru just cuddled up close and replied with a smile "Thats clearly not the Zidane I know".
Slipping her arm over his chest she heard his comment about getting used to the way of things and as she kissed him goodnight she murmured "...so could I" then drifted off to sleep.

The next morning she woke up and stretched, before gently stroking Zidanes hair away and kissing his forehead to wake him up. "Good morning, rise and shine cutie. Time to get dressed and going!" Getting out of bed, she wrapped a blanket from a chair around her and went to the main room where Mooglian was already up and about, making breakfast for them. "Hullo Kupo. I trust you both slept well?"

"Hi Mog, I slept very well thank you. Thanks for getting breakfast ready for us. We only have time to eat then we have to leave, will you be allright by yourself?"

Nodding the Moogle looked at Crucent, he hadn't seen her this happy in a while. It was almost worrying. "I'll be fine, but you two have to hurry if your going with the regular airship, it leaves in 1 hour from the dock."

"okay, thanks Mog." Taking the tray he had prepared laden with eggs, bread, bacon and orange juice for the both of them Crucent went back to the bedroom and set it on the table by the bed. "there you go, breakfast is served"

Zidane could come to like this sort of wake up call as his tail had been firmly coiled around Cru's leg and would of been difficult to remove if she was not pretty strong, after getting woken up Zidane stretched and yawned as he was so comfortable in that bed with Cru he didn't want to get up. But he forced himself to get up and wipe the sleep from his eyes, he then watched Cru walk out of the bedroom and figured he would use this time to wash up and get dressed. Thus he walked off into the bathroom and started to clean himself up, after doing that he took a towel and started to dry off and get dressed while Cru walked inside with the food.

After getting his pants and such on he walked over to the food and looked it over before saying "Wow that looks pretty good, did that moogle friend of yours make it for us to eat?" Zidane looked at Cru curiously and waited for her response before he started to eat his food, as he did so he waited til his mouth was empty before saying "So what today's agenda?"

Nodding Crucent took a sip of juice, then went over and dropped her blanket as she got dressed as well before returning to the table again to eat before they had to go "yeah he did. He's very nice like that. I guess you could say he's my helper in the house. Every Adventurer in this world has their own. They are so sweet and helpful"
Hearing his question, she looked at him a little then said "Well, I was thinking today we could go to Kazham and the Mithrans, before we go via Yuhtunga Jungle to Norg and the Pirates there."

Finishing up her breakfast, she gathered the plate and cup onto the tray again "Mooglian told me that if we want to go there by regular airship, we'd better get started soon cause it's leaving the dock in under an hour. If we use your ship tho we're not in any rush and can relax a bit more. Up to you really.

Zidane was muchin' down on some bacon when Cru came back and told him of how the moogle did fix this up and explained why the moogle does as such, nodding his head a bit Zidane then listened to what they were going to do and said "So Kazham is the Mithrans' major city right?" Zidane figured that might be the case just how the other place seemed to be the little magi's major city.

After that he finished up eating his share of the food and then cleaned his face off with a napkin, he then hear the airship deal and simply shrugged a bit before saying "I say we continue to take the Invincible, that way we never have to worry about deadlines for airships and also might help get my crew to gain souls and become more....energetic if they see many different places without me watching over them all the time." Zidane stood up after saying that and took his share of the dishes and followed Cru to where the dishes needed to go.

"Well actually they come from another continent, but on this one yeah, it's their major city"

Heading back into the living room Crucent set the tray away, then after listening to Zidane wanting to still go with his own ship said "hmm... okay. But Kazham is really just a small hamlet by the ocean with a palisade wall protecting it from the jungle. So I don't know but I think your ship might be too large to land on the ground there. Kazham only has one small wooden dock for regular Airships, it's not built to take anything as large as the Invincible, so that might be a problem."

Leaning against a big armor chest, she folded her arms and looked at Zidane with a little smile on her lips.

"Boy your in for a fun time once we set foot in Kazham, and frankly, I have half a mind to step back and leave you too it, those Mithrans have a nasty temper when angered, and seeing me with you will definately anger them."

Zidane listened to the issues of trying to use the Invincible to get there and to that he simply shrugged a bit and said "Don't worry I got a plan to land it there still." Zidane then saw Cru cross her arms and look at him with a smile before telling him that the Mithran will be all over him and might even get upset with Cru being near him.

He frowned a bit at that and then said "Why would they get upset if you are near me Cru, you and I are sort of a couple you know. Anyway they can try to catch me but I'm rather good at avoiding stuff when I need to, though I'll be taking the Mage mashers with me to that place.....the Ogre those two join to make has a pretty handy ability that will help me get away from stuff." Zidane snickered a bit as he placed his hands behind his head and smiled at Cru, he then walked up to her and gave her a warm kiss on the lip before saying "Anyway......I got you so why would I want to get caught?"

With that said Zidane headed for the door so that they could get to the airship and get going, as he wanted to see if Cru was being dramatic or telling the truth.

Laughing a little Crucent told Mooglian they were leaving and followed Zidane to his airship once more.
"Well... when I first saw you I also thought you were a male Mithra, and those are rare. You will cause quite the commotion when we get there, just wait and see."

Giving him a map of how to get there she said "And yes you have me, yes we are a couple, but the Mithrans won't care about that, and if they do they certainly wont like it. An Elvaan with what appears to them as a Male Mithran? I'll be in a world of pain, cause, again; a male Mithran outside of their own continent is extremely rare, so they will want you for themselves, for breeding purposes."

Sitting down in one of the ships many comfortable chairs she grinned at him, her brown eyes twinkling and said "So unless you want an all catgirl harem to yourself, you'd better be prepared to run, like you've never run before. "

Zidane listened to what Cru said and shrugged a bit as he then responded by saying "Well I am rather special so I guess I am rare....hehehe~ Anyway I cause trouble where ever I go normally, sort of my thing really...." Zidane took the map he was given and started to read it as he walked while listening to Cru.

After she got done talking they had reached the airship and were teleported inside, he then said "Hmmm....well then I want you to stay safe then. I rather get mauled than you get a single scratch on you, and breeding purposes........hehehe....well that might be fun too bad for them I like my freedom too much to be captured. That and do you reallyyyyy want armies of children with MY sort of genes running around on your world?" Zidane arched an eyebrow as he looked over his shoulder at Cru when he asked that question.

As they walked to the control room the crew had just finished their breakfast and were walking inside after washing up, when they got into their seats Zidane activated the Invincible once more and had it lift off the ground. Slowly to ensure nothing got hit while they were pulling away from the city, after getting high enough though the Airship took off like a shot toward Kazham.

Zidane looked over at Cru when she said her last words and simply smirked a bit and said "Wellllllll having an ALLLLL catgirl harem wouldn't be that fun, now a mostly catgirl harem with a Elvann woman being the boss.....that would be fun. But eh unlikely to happen...soooo ya I'll try to keep myself out of their grasp."

Trying to envision Vana'Diel with loads of Genome/Mithran children running about, Crucent couldnt help but snort in laughter "Sorry no I don't think this planet would handle your genes mixed with Mithrans well at all, I think just a few kids with your genes on this planet is enough."
Smiling she walked next to him into the Control Room and ruffled his hair as the airship took off and made its swift way towards Kazham saying"And as for your harem, *this* Elvaan will not be the boss of it, so yeah I suggest you don't get your hopes up about it."

Walking around inside the Control Room she stopped in front of the big windows and looked out at the sea flying by underneath them, Kazham really was best seen for the first time when you saw it nestled on the shore with the vastness of the jungle on all sides. So she waved Zidane over to join her just as she could see Kazham as a very small dot far in the distance.

"hurry, come here. The wiew is incredible and you should see Kazham from it's very best the first time you go there."

As the airship quickly approached the shoreline, Kazham went from beeing a dot to a small town snuggled in the green jungle behind it, Protruding from the town was a low wooden dock that jutted out into the sea. The houses were all wooden with straw roofs, situated snugly on the sandy ground. In amongst the houses stood the odd palmtree swaying its long leaves gently in the wind and the Mithrans who lived there were now gathering on the shoreline, grown women and small children alike, pointing at the ship, looking very intrigued by it.

Zidane made a mock face of shock when Cru said that her world couldn't handle having many children made by him and some women, though he did like the part about her saying a few of his kids being enough. It was then a few moments later that she ruffled his hair a bit and told him how unlikely it would be for her to be a boss of a harem, he pouted a bit and then said "Darn and Mistress Cru had such a lovely ring to it too....oh well, a man can dream can't he?~" He snickered after saying that though and focused on flying the ship for the moment.

It was then that after oh an half hour Crucent called for him to come to where she was, he figured though it was okay and left the controls on auto for a bit. He walked up beside her and looked down at the view and took note of the city, he smiled a bit as the city was rather nice and looked pretty good. He then said "Not bad, not bad at all. The catwomen sure know how to pick em, then again you women always were good at making stuff look nice." As Zidane said that his Phone poked its head out of its hiding place and took pictures of the sight for later use, it went back to hiding as Zidane had to go back to the controls to ensure they didn't smash into anything.

After finally getting there the Airship took up position over the city so that its large red 'eye' looked down at them, Zidane then placed the ship on auto once more then lead Cru to the teleporters once more along with the crew. He then picked up Cru in his arms and said "You better hang on tight, and please don't hit me for this..." the entire group was teleported out of the airship into thin air and started to fall toward the ground. They were three stories up so normally this would hurt...A LOT but the girls aimed their hands at the empty ground below them and fired burst of wind magic at it to slow their fall while Zidane just kept falling and falling. He soon landed on his feet with Cru in his arms but he was perfectly fine due to his boots, the most the landing did was make his knees bend.

He soon set Cru down but made sure to be ready to catch her if she got dizzy while the genome crew landed a few seconds later as well, Zidane then looked over at Cru and said "Well enjoy the trip, cause I think we had a nice fall." Bad joke but it would at least help Cru focus on that instead of the drop, as he asked his Airship flew up into the sky going higher and higher and higher before it disappeared into the clouds and would stay there till summoned back. Zidane then looked around at the crowd forming at their location as his tail formed a question mark shape, he was wondering why they were all staring at him......

As they had a very soft landing and touched down gently on the ground, Crucent simply stood up and held on to Zidane's shoulder for a few seconds as she got her bearings again then smiled at him and said "Thanks honey".

Looking around she saw that they were definately not in Jeuno anymore, and the Mithrans had definately noticed them. They didn't seem to care much for the Crew as they were used to women but "A MAN, A MITHRAN MAAAN!" Suddenly the world went insane and all the catwomen started running directly at them, each one trying to get to Zid first.

"uh-oh...here we go." Crucent quickly laid her arm around Zidanes shoulders, not so much for his protection as much as she wanted to make it absolutely clear from the start that he was hers but it failed tremendously as suddenly every adult woman had crowded so tightly in on the pair of them that Crucent and Zidane had no room to move at all, everybody wanted to touch and admire him but they also managed to squeeze Crucent to the edge of the crowd as they were all bombarding Zid with questions of where he came from, how had he gotten off the main continent, were there other males with him, would he be interested in a meal, or a drink, or more drinks, or a place to sleep for the night.

Crucent quickly saw that she stood no chanse against the sea of Mithrans that was now trying to grab Zid; everybody was pulling at his clothing, some had started arguing over him, others again were openly fighting, pulling hair, clawing and kicking the opponents nearest too themselves, it was utter mayhem and the noiselevel was now so loud she couldn't even hear herself speak.

All she could do was hope that he'd manage to take care of himself as she ran up to the local Chocobo Rental place and rented two birds, then jumped onto one and holding the other by the reins, returned to where the crowd was, then screamed to him to get out and on the bird.

Zidane smiled at bit at Cru when she called him honey and so he said "You're welcome Cru.", but too bad the calm situation was ruined as one minute the cats were staring at him the next a loud cry of what he looked like went out and sure enough a swarm was heading right at him. The crew were quick to respond and got out of the way by jumping and running out of the crowd's way, but Zidane was not able to since he had to stick with Cru to keep her safe.....well that was his plan anyway.

Without really understanding what was going on one moment he had Cru's arm around his shoulders the the swarm hit and crowed them pretty much to the point of crushing them, it didn't take long for Cru to get muscled out of the way and Zidane was left to try and deal with this on his own as he tried to talk over the crowd. "I'm from Gaia, I never been to the main continent, no there are not other males with me, I am not hungry or thirsty, and I don't need a place to sleep for the night-...Hey now no grabbing!" yelled Zidane as he started to pull away from grasping hands going after him. It was then the fights broke out and hell really started to break loose, this caused Zidane to let out a sigh of annoyance before he drew out his mage mashers. Joined them to form the Ogre and then followed that up by hitting the ground under him to cause an burst of darkness to hide him from sight, he had jumped into the air to avoid getting grabbed after doing that and landed ever so softly on one Mithran's head.

He was happy his boots made him lighter since he didn't want to break any necks with him doing that, he then used that head as a spring board and burst out of the darkness field and started to jump from one head to another rapidly to get out of the horde. He hadn't heard or seen what Cru was doing and went the opposite direction as well, when he finally had his feet on the ground he took off like a shot into the village to get some distance between him and them. By now he knew the Mithran would recover from the shock of the man they were after doing that and would be after him soon enough.....so he was going to keep Ogre out for now.

Seeing Zidane head off up into the village, Cru cursed and jumped off her chocobo then let them both run back to the stables as she quickly made her way around the mass fights and quarrels, trying to make her way as fast as possible to wherever Zidane had run off to. Fortunately most of the narrow alleys were empty since almost every Mithran was still down on the beach, trying to get him for herself.

Walking quickly and quietly, she searched inbetween the tall huts to see if she could spot him, but despite her best tracking skills, he was a Thief and damned good at avoiding leaving any marks. She just hoped he hadn't gone outside the palisade walls and into the jungle but had hunkered down somewhere out of sight.

Zidane had ran for only a few yards away from the crowd before he opted to hide in a house, he got out his trusty lock-picking kit and used it to open the door without doing any damage to it. After doing so he quickly slipped inside and closed the door before locking it from the inside, he looked around at the home and figured it was just a standard bathhouse which he guessed was kinda obvious to have since in a place full of females their isn't really a threat from men trying to spy on a group of women bathing.

Figuring that he would be safe enough in this place Zidane softly walked around the place before finding a good enough spot to hide in, slipping into a changing room and getting his lighten self onto a high shelf he would wait things out till nightfall. By then he could just sneak out of the city and back to the Invincible with less trouble.......he just hoped the felines weren't good at using their nose to track stuff down.
