Just what the Doctor ordered (Xanxus only, others PM to join)

After a few more minutes where they both finished their drinks, Crucent stood up and slipped her arm around his "Shall we get going?"

Walking outside Cru was feeling very happy. After all, here she was on a new world, in a stunningly pretty hotel and about to go to dinner with arguably the most handsome guy she'd seen so far on this planet. Clearly the other women that they passed on the way to where they would eat thought so too as they all kept staring at Xanxus with more then just polite intrest

Giggling a little she smiled and leaned in and murmured "you know what? I think I'm the luckiest woman here going by the way all these other women look at you, I like it.

As the two of them finished their drinks they stood up, Crucent slipping her arm around his. "Shall we get going? She asked him. Xanxus nodded and began to escort her from the hotel.

Outside Xanxus got the usual looks from the random women. All their looks of lust for the Varia leader turned to looks of envy when they noticed Crucent around his arm. He saw that she had noticed too as she giggled and leaned in. "You know what? I think I'm the luckiest woman here going by the way all these other women look at you, I like it. She told him.

"I'd say you're wrong. I'm the lucky one since you agreed to a date with me." He said in that voice that oozed sex.

Blushing a little Crucent smiled and kissed his cheek as they arrived at the restaurant where they would be eating.
Looking around she saw that it was a very high-end place with all the diners in their best dresses and evening suits, all the womne competing with the crystal on who sparkled the most as they all were wearing the most opulent jewellry she had ever seen.

As the Maitre D' came up to them all smiles and bowing; she was very impressed.
It was clearly cause she was with Xanxus, since she had never seen such a polite employee before, not even back home after she became World Leader.

Inquiring as to how he could be of assistance tonight, he gave Crucent a very curious look, apparently wondering what she was but she didn't mind, she was used to beeing a novelty on the worlds she visited.

Leaning into Xanxus she couldn't help but wonder howver and whispered quietly "Are people always this reverent of you wherever you go?"

Xanxus watched as Crucent blushed ever so slightly at his compliment. Again she gave him another kiss to the cheek. By now they had arrived inside the resturant. The couple was greeted by the Maitre D' who was more friendly than Xanxus expected.

"Welcome. Oh, Xanxus sir. Your table is right this way." He said as she bowed and turned. Xanxus put his arm around Crucent's waist, bringing her in closer to his side as they followed the man. As they passed by the rest of the diners Crucent whispered to him, "Are people always this reverent of you wherever you go?"

"Its mostly the sex appeal when women are involved. But being the leader of the assassination squad for the top mafia family doesn't help either." He said as they were lead to a back room. A private room Xanxus had set up for the two of them. Candles covered the walls, fresh candles at that. A bucket of ice sat in the center of the table with a bottle of wine. The seats were similar to the throne Xanxus had back at the mansion. Plush red cushions surrounded by deep golds that seemed to glow in the candle light.

Xanxus approached one of the chairs and pulled it out, waiting for Crucent to take her seat. "That will be all." He said to the Maitre D' who bowed once more and left at once.

"seems it's has it's perks though"

Crucent took in the room as she sat down in the chair he held out for her, it was luxuriously furnished with candles lighting and heating the room, giving a warm intimate glow to everything.

"I have to say; this is really impressive. I am definatley the most lucky girl in town tonight. Sitting with the sexiest and arguably most powerful man on this World I'd say a fair number of women would kill to be me right now"
Smiling playfully she looked at him and winked "so who knows I may need your services yet while I'm here"

Crucent agreed as they walked into the candle-lit room. He could tell she was impressed with it. Pushing her chair in once she sat down he sat in his own chair.

"I have to say; this is really impressive. I am definatley the most lucky girl in town tonight. Sitting with the sexiest and arguably most powerful man on this World I'd say a fair number of women would kill to be me right now" She gave him a playful smile and a wink. "So who knows I may need your services yet while I'm here"

Xanxus laughed "Well now. I wouldn't say I'm the most powerful man, we do have our own world leader. As far as sexiest goes, you beat me by a long shot." He said, his hand moving under the table to sit on Crucent's thigh. "If you're that worried, maybe I should stay with you in your room tonight then."

Her eyes twinkled teaslingly in the candlelight as she smiled at Xanxus when she heard his offer to stay the night, the meaning brought fully home as he placed his hand on her thigh. "Maybe you should, but let's first see how the evening goes shall we? no point rushing things." Not moving his hand away she enjoyed it instead, wondering just how far he'd go if she let him.

Taking a sip of Wine Crucent was a little amused at his forthrightness, she had never met anyone as used to having things his own way before. It was intriguing to be around, and for that matter so was Xanxus himself. He was easily the most mysterious person she'd ever come across and that made her curious about him, plus it helped that he was charming and handsome as well.

"But food however, I would like as soon as possible. Shall we order?"

"Maybe you should, but let's first see how the evening goes shall we? no point rushing things." She told him as he placed his hand on her thigh. She didn't move it but simply took a sip of her wine.

"I suppose that's the right thing to do." He agreed as he brought his hand back up and took a drink of his own wine.

"But food however, I would like as soon as possible. Shall we order?" She asked him, turning her attention back to what they had come here for. Xanxus rose his hand into the air and snapped his fingers. Instantly a waitress appeared.

"What my I get you mistress Crucent?" She asked, handing the much taller woman a menu while fishing a pen and pad from her skirt.

Examining the menu Crucent smiled at the waitress then said "hmm.... i'll have one baked salmon and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc please. As for dessert; can i decide that a little later? "

Looking over at Xanxus she asked "and what will you have?"

"Of course you can decide later mistress Crucent." The waitress replied as she wrote down her order. Xanxus simply sipped his wine the whole time, watching the interaction. When the waitress had taken Crucent's menu she looked at him and asked, "and what will you have?"

It was the waitress who answered this question. "Oh, we have master Xanxus' order already. His personal chef contacted us with his preferances when the reservation was made." She smiled. With another bow the waitress walked off to put Crucent's order in.

Smiling she gave Xanxus a playful look and raised her eyebrow as she said "wow, personal chefs getting things sorted for you huh? sounds like a nice life"
Sipping her wine she leaned over the table and held his hand as she stared into his eyes and tilted her head a little, before asking "So... if you are all that powerful and can get anything and any woman you want; why me?"

Crucent looked at Xanxus with her eyebrow raised and a playful look. "Wow, personal chefs getting things sorted for you huh? sounds like a nice life."

"Its not as glamorus as you would think. I hardly leave the mansion now unless its for a job. Its even rare to find a job where I need to take care of it personally." He told her as she reached over and took his hand. She gazed into his red eyes for a moment before tilting her head and asking, "So... if you are all that powerful and can get anything and any woman you want; why me?"

"Most women simply throw themselves at me because of my looks. Most don't even know about my role as head assassin for the strongest mafia family ever. You give me a challenge, something to work for. The radiant beauty, the sexy body, the fun personality..." He lost his train of thought as he continued to stare into her eyes.

"I'm sorry honey, that doesn't sound nearly as fun as I thought it would be. Sounds more like a luxurious trap instead. How do you not get bored silly?"

Holding his hand she caressed it with her thumb as she gave him a concerned look before blushing a little as she heard his reasons for wanting to invite her out to dinner.

"So Im just a challenge?" Smirking a little she gave him a quizzical look

"So I'm just a challenge?" Crucent asked once Xanxus lost his train of thought. Shaking his head slightly he broke the effects her body had on him.

"Well, you could say that. But I also think it could be because you're as sexy and someone I actually want to be with." He managed to say before turning back to his wine.

Laughing softly as he replied, Cru looked at Xanxus and smiled "well, thank you for the honesty and the compliment. It's certainly a change of pace from what I'm used too.

Giving him a thoughtful look she then said "now, please dont take this the wrong way, cause I am enjoying the evening so far but... may I ask; how old are you? you see I am 32. but, I am also Elvaan wich means... we live slower, and longer then humans, so normally a Human and an Elvaan of the same age tend to be very different in personalities, with the Elvaan having been that age for longer then the Human will have if that makes any sense at all..."

Sighing a little she frowned a bit and said "I'm sorry, I just don't want to start a relationship now and in a few weeks or even years, have you grow tired of me I guess."

Just as she finished speaking, the Waitress returned with their orders and set them down in front of them on the table "There you go, we hope you will enjoy it. And if there is anything wrong, please don't hesitate to call on me and I'll fix it straight away." Curtsying she them left them alone again.

"But if you can live with the age-gap, so can I" Smiling she then tasted her salmon carefully, since she had already had a few more twinges as the evening progressed, all a bit stronger then the last one.

Xanxus listened as Crucent explained about how Elvaans and humans differed in age. His cocky grin came back as she finished. Right before he could answer the waitress returned with their orders.

"There you go, we hope you will enjoy it. And if there is anything wrong, please don't hesitate to call on me and I'll fix it straight away." She said as Xanxus raised his hand and waved her away. Obediantly the waitress curtsied and left. Xanxus watched as Crucent tried her salmon first before saying anything.

"Well, knowing that I'd like to ask you how old do you think I am?" The question given Xanxus turned to his plate and the steak on it.

Swallowing Cru put her fork down as she looked properly at him as she thought about it.
After a little while she said "well, I'm not good at guessing peoples ages at all but I'm inclined to say your older then 23 and younger then 28, so... 25?"

Sipping her wine she gave him a quizzical look and wondered if she was even halfway right in her guess

Xanxus continued to smile as he finished chewing his bite of steak as he listened to Crucent's guess.

"Well if we were talking about how old I look, 24 would be correct. But I'm actually 34 years old." He explained while cutting another piece of his food off.

"wow!!"
Laughing at her own bad guess Cru continued " Im so sorry,but I did say I was rubbish at guessing ages" giggling she said "I hope I didn't offend you tho''

Blushing quite a bit now she drank the rest of her Wine then poured some water into the glass instead before continuing on with her meal a thought struck her "so wait, your actually 2 years older then me? I'm glad then. The last guy I was with was... alot younger, and in the end it showed, clearly...."

Crucent laughed as Xanxus told her his age. "Im so sorry,but I did say I was rubbish at guessing ages" She told him as her laughter died down to a giggle. "I hope I didn't offend you though."

"Its alright, you didn't offend me." He said as he put the piece of meat in his mouth and chewed. "I like watching people react to my real age. Being frozen for ten years does have quite the eeffect on the physical body." He said after swallowing his piece of steak.

Crucent was blushing now. As she emptied the last of her wine she replaced it with water. "So wait, you're actually 2 years older then me? I'm glad then. The last guy I was with was... alot younger, and in the end it showed, clearly...."

"Was he going to be the father?" Xanxus asked as she explained why she was happy he was actually older.

Nodding Cru replied "yeah, but then things didn't work out between us so we called it off. He does know about my situation and said he'd be there for it as the child grows up though, wich is good"

Taking a bite of the salmon she sighed "but let's not talk about it anymore, it's not exactly first date material" smiling sadly she continued "apart from that, is there anything else you want to know about me? if so just ask."

Xanxus nodded. He accepted her change of subject, knowing full well she didn't want to talk about the issue that had just happened. "Well, I'd like know know more about yourself. What you like, dislike. What you do for fun." Xanxus gave her only a few things for the moment but felt that thoes topics would suffice for the time being.

Smiling she looked at him, glad of the change of topic and said "hmm, what I like and don't like.... Well, I like travelling, seeing new places and meeting new people. I'm not so fond of having to sit in my office back home all day and do paperwork, but my Aide loves it. I like to read, fight and explore. I don't like people who lie or hurt others for fun, I enjoy swimming, climbing; things where I can use my body. But I don't object to a nice evening in with good wine and good company either." Winking she took his hand and squeezed it gently.

" And now it's your turn, what do you like to do for fun?"

Xanxus took in every word she had to say. About how she like to do things that required her body, about how she liked being active and in motion all the time. He listened when she explained how her aide loved to do paperwork while she hated it. Then she held his hand again and gave it a gentle squeeze with a wink.

"And now it's your turn, what do you like to do for fun?" She asked him.

"Fun? I don't get to do much in the name of fun. Most I'm able to do is sleep, eat, spend some time with Bester, and fiddle with my hobby of making firearms." He told her, having a hard time trying to think of what he did for fun.

"aww, thats not good. All work and no play makes Xanxus a dull boy" Grinning at him she continued "and we can't have that at all, sounds like I'll need to think of some ...fun for you then"

Finishing up the last bit of her dinner she took a sip of water as she let the words sink in, smiling a little to herself.
