Another day in Heaven.... -_- (Open, fun, a little adventure) Gohrick, others PM to join

He gave a gentle smile back and nodded his head, before dropping his towel as he walked towards the dresser, pulling out a pair of boxers and a faded pair of jeans. He wrapped the belt around and fluffed out his hair before combing it out, moving down to his chest and arms, getting the knots out of his fur.

“Heh, no worries Cru, I’ll get us a breakfast fit for a Captain ex Captain and a guest of honor,” he said with a grin, before putting on a thin, button up shirt that was left open. “Now, come on, let’s get some food,” he said with a smile, walking up to her and giving her nose a playful lick, before leading the way to the kitchen.

On the way there, not a soul was seen on the ship, and even though it was early, Goh was still surprised. Still, as he wasn’t contacted, he figured everything was alright. Once they got to the kitchen, Gohrick started on making a pot of tea.
“Are you sure you don’t want something with more substance? Toast and tea is nice, but I’m thinking a more complete breakfast,” he said with a smile, before heading into the fridge.

Following him into the kitchen she sat down on a chair and watched him busy himself with the food. Smiling she replied "tell you what kitty, impress me with your cooking skills then and make what you want, I promise i'll eat it."

Looking around it was certainly an impressive kitchen for a ship. Big stoves, a huge sink, and pots, pans galore hanging on the walls. She did however notice the definitve lack of other people onboard, wich struck her as a bit odd since going by the sunlight outside it was between 8.30 and 9 in the morning by wich most people she knew at least had already been up for a few hours. But, maybe it was just down to cultural differences again.

He smiled and nodded, before turning around and donning Jareb’s ridiculous chief’s hat. “Alrighty Madam, prepare for a feast!” he said with a grin, before he started to grab what was needed. He pulled out the eggs and started to one handed juggle them, before one of them was missed and started to fall to the floor. However, his tail shot out and bounced it back to his hand without missing a beat.

“I am more than just a pretty face,” he said with a wink, before cracking the eggs and pulling out some sausage and ham, shredded cheese and some milk. Whisking and mixing, he turned on the stove and started cooking. In about twenty minutes, a large plate with a sausage, cheese, ham and green pepper omelet, a side order of bacon, two slices of toast, hash browns, with a glass of fresh orange juice sat before the pair of them, along with a cup of tea, jelly, butter, and hot sauce.

“Madam Cru…breakfast is served,” he said with an overly dramatic sweep of his hat.

Watching him juggle the eggs she gasped a little as the one egg fell, but as Goh saved it with his tail she giggled and applauded, honestly impressed but she replied jokingly " So it seems, and some day I'm sure you'll make some girl very happy with skills like that!"

As he had more and more food ready and set it in front of her Crucent felt her mouth water as she saw all the tasty things he prepared and applauded again as he said breakfast was served. "it seems your talents are just endless, you haven't stopped impressing me yet kitty"

Smiling she waited for him to sit down as well before she begun helping herself to some omelet and sausages to start with.

Gohrick simply smiled as he sat the last of the food down, a plate of biscuits, before sitting down himself in front of her. “You’re simply too kind Cru,” he said with a grin, scratching the back of his head. On that happy note, Goh began eating himself, tearing the biscuits in half and putting some of the omelet and bacon inside of it, like a breakfast sandwich before chowing down.

It didn’t seem like too long before Goh’s plate was empty and he was happily sipping on his tea with a content purr. It was amazing how much he could eat and still have such a slim figure.

Finishing up the last of her omelet Crucent sighed happily "wow, that was a great breakfast. thank you so much kitty"

She then looked around a little, but saw that still noone else had showed up to get some food. Finding it very odd she asked Goh "is it always this quiet onboard here in the mornings? I mean, it's a big ship, i'd expect to see at least one other person besides us in here..."

Gohrick smiled before looking around the room. He mentally made a note to check up top and make sure everything was alright when Cru voiced his own worries.
“Well, other than the main Cru, we have ten additional members who are mainly used in defense of the ship…It is creepishly quiet, but it wouldn’t be the first time…I’m starting to think we’ve been moving the past few days…Let’s wrap things up here before heading up to the helm,” he said, before picking up the finished plates and putting them in the sink. He thought for half a second, before shaking his head and leaving them there…Jareb could deal with that…

Leading the way up the ship, they still hadn’t seen a single soul. He was subconsciously worrying even more, his faster strides being a large sign. As the pair made it up to the helm, no one was on board. He quickly made his way over to the monitor and started to punch in some codes, before the consel came to life.

“Oh hell, no wonder…” he said with a laugh and a shake of his head. He quickly pulled Cru over and opened up one of the window’s blinds. Right outside was the Golden Saucer…they had been dragged along to the world of Seven.

Putting her own plates away as Goh had done, she followed him along the eerily silent corridors, wondering where everybody had gone. Even if this ship didn't have a huge crew, she would have expected to see someone.

As they reached the helm, Crucent held back a little, letting Goh find out what was going on right up to where he laughed a bit and pulled her to the window and showed her that the were on an entirely different World.

Looking out the window, then back at Goh Cru couldn't work out how they had gotten there, apparently with noone to steer the ship as it went along, so she said "how the hell did we end up here??? and what do we do now then, go back to the others or try to find out what's going on?"

Goh could see a bit of the confusion on Cru’s face, so he clarified exactly what had happened to the ships computer system.

“Well, seems like the crew was bored, and it had been about 6 months since the last time we had come to the Golden Saucer. Seems they decided on it sometime yesterday, during our R&R,” he said with a slight grin, before taking a seat on the Captain’s chair.

“Looks like we have the entire ship to ourselves…what gets me is that they didn’t even leave a note…As for what now, we have several options. We can go down to the park if you want, or we can just relax up here. Unless you need to get back…I wouldn’t want to be selfish for too long you know,” he said with a playful smile, pulling her down into his lap and hugging her tightly around her waist.

Smiling as he pulled her onto his lap Crucent replied "I think I'd like to go to the Park then cause as nice as it was staying here and having our R&R was, I'd like to be able to walk normally"

Chuckling a little she kissed his forehead "but don't worry about beeing selfish, I still have time before I absolutely have to head back home to Vana'Diel"

Getting up she pulled him to his feet and wrapped her arm around his waist then kissed him quickly "so let's go to the park then you can be my guide, cause I have never been here before"

Unable to resist her request, he slowly got up and kissed her back softly, before giving her a teasing glance. “Oh…normal walking is overrated…” he said with a grin. He then nodded as he lead her towards the elevator off the ship.

“Well, the Golden Saucer is made up of several parts…there’s a roller coaster, a theatre, a haunted portion with a hotel for the guest with seasonal passes, there’s the big Ferris Wheel, the choco races, the battle arena, the arcade…and probably even more that I’m forgetting about,” he explained on the ride down to the actual saucer.

As they neared the entrance, Gohrick pulled out his wallet and showed a card, before pulling out some gil for a one time pass for Cru. “If you like it, I can get you a lifetime pass like we have,” he said with a smile. “Oh, and very important, they take this place too seriously when it comes to security…if you come back to this point,” he said, showing her the line ,”You have to pay to get back in…but, enough with that drag…let’s have some fun,” he said with a grin, before grabbing her hand and dragging her along to the main area, which had tubes and slides to each area and back.

Giggling she paid for her pass then let Goh pull her along and show her around a bit as she listened to his explanations. When they finally stopped, she turned towards him holding his paw as she nuzzled his nose and asked in her sweetest voice "can we pretty please with icing on top go to the chocobo races? pleasepleasepleasepleasepleeeeease?!?!"
Practically bouncing she was ready to try everything the Park had to offer and she couldn't stop smiling in happiness, she felt like a 10 year old kid again and was having more fun then she could ever remember having before.

Gohrick found himself purring and nuzzling back against her, before giving a playful grin. “Oh…I don’t know…the races are always so boring…and the chocobos smell, and its so far and ,” he stopped and started to giggle, before pulling her towards the slide of the Chocobo races.

“As if I could resist anything you say Cru…come one, this will be a day you’ll never forget. No one ever forgets their first time at the Golden Saucer,” he said with a grin, before jumping and sliding down the tube, whooping in joy as it pushed and lead all the way to the Chocobo racing area.

Hopping into the tube after him Crucent couldn't help but laugh as they both slid speedily along to the Chocobo races finally coming to a stop by a platform. Climbing out she was still giggling, slipping her arm around Goh's before they begun walking to the Race track.

"Well I'll certainly be remembering that for some time, it was awesome!" Looking at all the people there, she wasn't out to win big, she just wanted to see the chocobos as she'd always had a soft spot for them. Passing a stand she grabbed a betting pamflet and started reading it.

There was a big race about to start soon by the looks of things and there were three yellow chocobos, one black and a red one competing. Apparently the red one was the one everybody thought would win as it had the best odds of them all. The black one seemed to be a new outsider with odds of 15 to 1 and the yellow ones seemed to be no more then a little over average speed.
Turning to Goh she said "I'll just go bet on the black one; Quoth. I'll be right back."

Making her way back to where the bets were placed, she bet 400 Gil on the black chocobo, got her ticket and returned to where Goh was sitting.

Giving him a smile she said "Tell you what? since you paid for my Entry Pass, if I win, we split the money."

Gohrick landed with an almost eased practice and took a look around. The scent of Chocobo hit his nose hard, but he had long since become used to it. After all, Kyto and Jiranto both had gambling problems with it came to Chocobo racing.

He turned and nodded to Cru as she went off to place a bet, as Gohrick looked up at the screen. ‘Meteo, Boco, Clyde, Quoth, and Nillan. Odds are on Nillan, the red one…I don’t know what the riders are thinking though, getting basic yellows to race against black and red…only a fool would bet on those first three-‘

“600 gil on Boco!”

His thoughts were interrupted as he heard someone scream out a bet in the background. ‘Yup, a fool…’ he thought with a slight smirk, before seeing Cru coming back. As she sat back down, he wrapped his tail around her waist and held her closely.

“Hm…sounds good, give me more cash flow to buy you more things to remember this by for years to come,” he said with a grin, before leaning his head against her shoulder affectionately.

And with that, the Race was on!

Laughing, she felt his tail around her waist. As the Race started she followed Quoth exitedly, he however had decided to not go full spped from the start, instead letting the red chocobo wear itself out a bit first. And only when they had all gotten about 2/3rds along the lenght of the track did the rider of the black start earning his pay, urging it forward like a madman. By now Cru was so excited she held on to Gohs arm not daring to look as she heard everybody around them screaming wildly at the various birds to run even quicker.

"I daren't look, How is Quoth doing? nowait! don't tell me, no, wait, tell me anyway!" Finally Cru sat back up again and saw Quoth and Nillan were only a couple of yards away from the finishing line and with a massive jolt of energy, Quoth bolted across it first, barely one beaks length ahead of Nillan, causing Cru to jump up and hug Goh silly as she was extatic over winning.

"HE DIDI IT, HE DID IT! QUOTH WON KITTY!!!" Grabbing Goh by his jacket collar Cru pulled him in for a looooong kiss before letting go and staring into his eyes "We won!"

Running off she headed to the betting booth and collected their winnings, splitting it and gave him half "There you go, have fun."

Gohrick was watching with a calm smile. He turned his head and found himself watching Cru a bit more then the race, finding her excitement contagious. He giggled as she grabbed his arm and hid her face, turning back to the screen and watching the close race between Quoth and Nillan.

As the race came to a close, Gohrick was right there, jumping up with excitement as Cru’s Chocobo won the race by a feather’s breath. He was shocked a she grabbed him so tightly, but happily kissed her back just as excitedly. “We won!” he yelled back with a laugh, before watching her head on down. He followed close behind her and collected his half before staring at it for a moment with a grin.

“Hm…now now, just where should we go so I can spoil the grand winner rotten?” he asked teasingly, before pulling her into a sideways hug around her waist.

Making a face she replied "You don't have to spoil me, you brought me here. That is more then good enough" Leaning down she nuzzled his nose and gave him a little smile as she said "and that money is for you, not for you to spend on me."

Taking his hand she pulled Goh along out of the Race track before turning to look at him as she walked backwards a little "ooo can we go to the Haunted house bit? it sounds like fun, and I've never tried!" Playfully she tilted her head a little as she batted her eyelids at him and whined slightly.

Goh smirked before playfully rolling his eyes. “I know I don’t HAVE to spoil you…I want to. Something to know about me Cru…As you know, I don’t have very many outside of the crew who I call friends. As such, I tend to spoil those that I do,” he said with a smile, giving her nose a playful look. “And I don’t do so to keep that friendship…I do so because I want to, because it’s in my nature,” he said with a grin, before being pulled along.

He found himself giggling slightly as she started to beg him to go to the haunted house section. “Heh, please Cru, this day is for you, we can go and do whatever your heart desires,” he said with a grin, before pulling her over to one of the tubes and jumped on in, laughing as he slid his way to the haunted house section, greeted by several Ghosts that floated around and through the walls.

Grinning a little to herself she muttered "anything my heart desires huh?" Following Goh into the tube she decided to remeber that bit, but not test it, just yet.
As they arrived by the haunted house, she had barely gotten out of the tube before ghosts appeared, drifting around and through the buildings like they were so much air, making Cru go "oooo, this'll be so much fun!" as she held onto his hand, approaching the house a little wearily.

He gave her hand a soft squeeze before leading her into the house, where right off the bat a swarm of ghosts flew at and through them, leaving behind a faint, chill mist in their wake. Goh found himself shaking, as if getting water off of him.
“Oh jeez…forgot about that,” he said with a laugh, before walking forward a few steps. As he looked around, he jumped as a large face emerged from the wall, looking like some disfigured male with a long, hooked nose and greasy black hair.

“ABANDON ALL HOPE YE WHO ENTER!” it bellowed, before skrieking loudly and shooting towards them, only to curve up and over them.

“Oh jeez…talk about a change…that wasn’t there before either…” he said with a laugh and turned to Cru to see how she was handling all this.

Already scared by the bats, Crucent practically hid in a bush when the head appeared and flew straight over them, only Goh's hand holding her in place. Taking a deep breath, she braced herself, feeling an overwhelming mix of fear and joy wich she couldn't remember ever having experienced before, as she smiled a little nervously at him she sighed and said "well, this place is certainly not like anything else I've ever seen, but I'm okay, for now so let's go inside please"

All the same, as they approached the door she couldn't help biting her lip a little and cling to Goh for comfort.

Gohrick couldn’t help but giggle slightly as he saw Cru almost hiding and how she clung so tightly to him. “Ladies and gentlemen of Vana’diel, your world leader,” he said teasingly while giving her cheek a playful lick. He hugged her tightly, before leading her inside the old oaken doors, the hinges creaking loudly as darkness seemed to engulf the pair.

Looking through the darkness as only a feline could, he thought he could make out a path, before dark blue flames started to light the room, giving an otherworldly glow. He blinked a few times as he eyes started to adjust, slowly moving forward, before feeling something wet and slimly brush against his face, causing him to yelp and jump back, nearly bumping into Cru. Whatever it was passed again, and nearly got Cru right in the face.

“KYAH!”

Goh jumped again as he heard the scream, then something that sounded like hundreds of footsteps marching behind them.

“Um…let’s keep moving…” he said with a nervous chuckle, still holding Cru’s hand tightly.

Glaring at Goh she stuck her tongue out at him "Hey, I have no problems with the ghosts and skeletons back home, it's just these im not too sure about..." her voice trailing off as they went inside. Seeing absolutely nothing she swallowed hard and gripped Goh's hand a little harder still just watching as blue flames appeared out of nowhere and something made him yelp and jump back a little nearly knocking into her.
Then she heard loads of footsteps behind them and felt a little more nervous as Goh decided they should go on and she hurriedly agreed.

Goh slowly continued to move forward, following what looked like the brightest of the blue flames, which was moving slowly. He didn’t have any other ideas, and it looked like the right choice, as the blue flame hit the wall and formed a flaming rectangle, which turned into a bright blue door.

“Um…ok…” he muttered, before lightly touching the door: it was cold as ice. He gripped the handle and pulled it open, only to be greeted by, what looked like a wall of tentacles. He yelped as they grabbed the pair of them and wrapped around them tightly, pulling them through, only to be released in a brightly lit and long hallway. Goh hissed slightly and blinked, trying hard to get used to the light, feeling damp and slightly slimy.
