Another day in Heaven.... -_- (Open, fun, a little adventure) Gohrick, others PM to join

Gohrick made his way to his room and lightly knocked on the door, smelling the steam and a spare shampoo bottle he had used whenever he needed a more professional appearance. Hearing nothing moving inside, he slowly opened up the door and soon realized that it was empty. He tilted his head slightly, then simply figured Cru was out exploring the ship. Since she wasn’t in here though, he decided he might as well shower in here, since he preferred his shower over the Captain’s room’s one.

Finding a pair of shorts, he quickly headed into the shower, feeling the water running over his back and tail, he looked down to see the ink running off his fur, leaving it dark brown and tan once again. He got one of the scented shampoos, Lilac, and set to work on cleaning off his fur and hair…

Hydria Valsis was never one who really played around…she was a serious person, and when people rubbed her the wrong way, she tended to get…a bit volatile. And right now, her younger brother, who was currently nursing a bruised ego and an even more bruised stomach and chest down in storage, had fouled up her mood. Currently, she was heading up to the deck, hoping that Kyto wasn’t up there, planning on getting some fresh air to clear her head. As she passed the second floor, she passed Etzel, who saw the look on Hydria’s face and quickly retreated back to her room. The two girls were good friends, but even so, Etzel knew to avoid ‘Dri’ when she was upset.

As she moved up to the first floor, she found herself pausing for a moment, seeing as the Captain’s door was partially open. She narrowed her eyes slightly : no one was supposed to be in there, and she wasn’t aware that Gohrick had come back to the ship. She slowly pushed the door further open and saw a tall woman in there, wearing a large shirt and looking through Cypherous’s private library.

“Rao, fryd yna oui tuehk eh rana? Yht fro yna oui uh dra creb?” she demanded, her voice sharp, speaking in her natural Al Bhed language. She didn’t have her weapon on her, but was dressed in a red tank top and grey sweat pants, her long red hair tied up in a pony tail. She didn’t move from the door frame, and while the look was far from friendly, it wasn’t too hostile either. She had learned from past experiences that sometimes, one of the guys would bring a girl up, and not all of them were spies or enemies…

After a moment, she realized that the woman probably didn’t speak Al Bhed, so she rephrased her question in English.
“Why are you in here? And who are you with?” she asked, her English better than most other Al Bhed, but still with the thick accent of the Al Bhed. And it at least sounded a bit nicer then when she spoke before...a little...friendlier.

When she heard a very strange language indeed, Crucent turned around and saw another woman standing in the doorway with a less then happy look on her face, then the stranger correctly assumed Cru had no idea what she had just said and rephrased her question in english instead.

"Oh my goddess! I am terribly sorry if I have trespassed on anything, I am a friend of Gohricks who kindly allowed me to spend the night in here, instead of out there in the jungle, so I was just trying to find something to read, because in his own bedroom there is mainly just books on drawing and painting so I thought I could go look for a Library or, at least, other books. And he did say I could go anywhere, but if I am not meant to be here, again; I am deeply sorry."

Hydria simply sighed and nodded her head at the first few words she said, only caring about ‘friend of Gohrick…allowed to spend the night’. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes as the woman continued on and on…she really didn’t care. As the woman seemed to be taking a breath, Hydria simply raised her hand.

“You are with the Captain ex Captain…That is enough for me. This is the Captain’s Chambers, currently belonging to Cypherous. When he is away, Gohrick usually takes the room back over. Since you are a friend of Gohrick, you are free to roam the ship,” she said simply, giving a nod of her head. Hydria was always a bit…more blunt and direct then most.

Gohrick emerged from the shower after drying off and wearing only the shorts, which hung on his hips as he walked around the room. He raised an eyebrow at the still empty room, before his ears twitched slightly, hearing voices down the hall. He exited his room and walked a bit, before seeing the two women talking.

“Ah, I see you met our resident jailer,” he said with a teasing grin, causing Hydria to roll her eyes and turn her head.

“Oui! Fuimt oui pa cu geht du ehvuns dra nacd uv ic frah oui pnehk cusauha amca uh dra creb? E fyc lmuca du yddylgehk ran pavuna cra cyet cra fyc fedr oui!” Dria growled out, her red eyes narrowing at the feline.

Gohrick actually backed up slightly and held up his paws.
“E's cunno, E's cunno...Zaaw, fuimt oui zicd dyga ed ayco?” he countered quite fluently, giving her a small smile.

Dria stepped closer and painfully poked him in the chest.
“Dyga ed ayco ra cyoc...Nasaspan dra mycd kenm dryd Godu pnuikrd ib? Cra haynmo dnycrat dra luhdnum nuus!” she countered, poking him hard once again, causing him to groan slightly, both in pain and in remembering the situation.

“Jymet buehd...Tuh'd funno druikr, cra'c yh yldiym vneaht, hud zicd cusauha fru fyc mucd,” he explained, causing Dria to just throw up her arms before shaking her head and pinching the bridge of her nose.

“Oayr oayr...E's kuehk du dra dub talg...” she said, shaking her head and walking out of the room, leaving Goh there just rubbing his chest and shaking his head.

“And that was Dria…she was one of the two others who helped me find and repair this ship,” he explained, giving Cru a small smile which turned into a soft laugh.

“So I see you found the Captain’s room. Find anything good to read?” he asked, pointing to the book she had, as if the previous incident hadn’t happened.

Hydria - You! Would you be so kind to inform the rest of us when you bring someone else on the ship? I was close to attacking her before she said she was with you!

Goh - I'm sorry, I'm sorry...Jeez, would you just take it easy?

Hydria - Take it easy he says...Remember the last girl that Kyto brought up? She nearly trashed the control room!

Goh - Valid point...Don't worry though, she's an actual friend, not just someone who was lost.

Hydria - Yeah yeah...I'm going to the top deck..))

As goh entered, Crucent gave him a very sheepish grin as way of apology for causing trouble for him cause even though she didn't understand the words; the feeling was clearly annoyance from the other woman.

After she left, Crucent grinned at him and said "sorry!!! I just wanted to find something to read, and the door was open, but I didn't mean to trespass."

Looking very apologetic, she continued "She was actually very nice, all things considered, alot nicer then how I would have been if the roles were reversed, but I hope I didn't get you in trouble..."

Looking down at the book in question she said "I hope it's good, I don't know yet it's "Mutiny on the Bounty" whatever that is. Sounded interresting though so I figured I'd give it a try."

Gohrick simply smiled and shrugged slightly, as if it wasn’t a big deal. He was used to dealing with Dria for years already.
“Honestly, that was much nicer of her then usual…though I wish I knew where she got that strength from…even her pokes feel like light punches…” he said with a grin and laugh.

“As for trespassing, how can you do that, when you’ve been given free reign. So don’t worry about it…Probably should have mentioned this was Cypher’s room though…ah well, live and learn,” he said, before raising an eyebrow at the book.

“Why would he have that book…That’s like a captain’s worst nightmare,” he said with a slight chuckle. “I’ve never read it myself, but clearly he enjoys it,” he said, showing the wear on the spine of the book.

“Now, would you stop looking like you ran over my robot or something and relax? Your among friends here Cru,” he said with a smile, staring into her eyes.

Chuckling Crucent nodded as she returned the look, and finally noticed he was just in his shorts. Blushing a little she remembered she was just in a very big shirt and nothing more, and bit her lower lip a little before she replied "Fine, i'll try to relax. It's just been a hectic day with lots of fights and adrenaline and it's hard to unwind"

Tilting her head a little, she smiled a little naughtily at him and stepped right up to him as she grabbed his jaw then gave him a very light kiss on his lips before letting go again as she pulled away again and said "but hopefully this book will help me..."

Turning she walked to the door again and turned to look at him then said "even if you might be better at it." and gave him a wink and another smile before she slipped out in the hallway again and returned to 'her' bedroom where she slipped quickly into bed and snuggled down for the night as she begun to read.

He froze for a moment as her lips met his own, causing him to purr softly, before simply staring into her eyes with a slightly goofy grin on his maw. He simply nodded his head as she walked away, his eyes finding themselves on her hips, watching how they swayed, before he shook his head out of the daze.

“Oh fates, why must thy be so cruel…” he pondered aloud before hearing the door of ‘her’ room click shut. He sighed slightly before chuckling at his missed opportunity and found himself sitting on the foot of the bed. After a few moments, he laid back and stared up at the ceiling.

It couldn’t have been 30 minutes later when he found himself jerking awake with a gasp, panting heavily and looking around the room. He gulped slightly, before running a paw over his face…his fur was slightly damp. Damn nightmares…

He sat up and looked around the room…nothing of interest for the feline, and with his heart pounding so hard, he knew sleep wasn’t going to come easily to him. He normally drew to keep his mind busy, but with all his supplies in his room, he was hard pressed at the moment.

With the grace that only a feline had, he got up on his feet and softly stepped out of the room and made his way down the hall way. Figuring that Cru was probably already asleep, he figured he could step in and grab his bag, before silently stepping out. He wasn’t 100% sure if she was, but as a gambling feline, he thought a bit of risk could be fun…he slowly opened the door and peeked inside.

When Cru returned to her room, she couldn't help smiling a little before finally deciding the shirt she had gotten was way to big to wear to bed, so she had taken it off and was now lying down in bed on her stomach, with her nose in the book. Wide awake and completely enthralled by the story, she didn't even notice the sound of the door opening silently. Instead she was absentmindedly nibbling on the end of her braid as she was getting more and more into the story.

Gohrick looked in and saw Cru just laying there, but due to the angle, he couldn’t tell if she was awake or asleep. He bit his lower lip, before quietly walking in and moving over to the desk of the room. He mentally sighed, as he realized that he had the bag inside the desk. A desk that squeaked when it opened. He once more cursed his luck, before reaching over to it and very slowly pulling it open. Little by little…only a bit more and he could reach in…a bit more…SQUEAK!
He just froze there and cursed his luck…even a deaf squirrel would have heard that one.

Yanking her head up from the book when she heard the Squeak, Crucent tried to see if anybody was there, but that dratted wall was in the way so she turned so she was sitting up and holding the blanket over her body and asked "is there anybody there?"

Waiting for an answer, she was completely still, not even breathing in case it was an intruder as opposed to just her imagination, trying to hear anything at all, apart from her own pulse thudding in her ears.

Gohrick jumped slightly as he heard Cru’s voice, and felt amazingly guilty for scaring her like that. He grabbed his bag from the desk and closed it quietly before slowly peeking behind the wall.

“I am so sorry Cru, I didn’t mean to scare you…I couldn’t sleep, so I got my art bag…didn’t know I had left it in the desk…” he said, his ears drooping down low as he really did feel bad for scaring her like that. Even from here, he could hear her heart pounding.

“I’ll…I’ll just leave you to rest…Again Cru, I am so sorry,” he said, his eyes pleading with her not to hate him at the moment.

Breathing a huge sigh of relief as she heard, and saw goh appear and say it was just him, she smiled at him and said "it's fine. you just gave me a bit of a fright thats all. But why are you in here this late anyway? " patting the bed, she scooted over a little so he could come sit and talk a bit.

“Again, I’m so sorry I scared you Cru,” he said softly, before walking towards her and taking a seat on the bed. He held up his bag and opened it up, showing a plethora of drawing pencils, brushes, inkwells, colored pencils, paints, sketch books and the works when it came to art.
“I…I’m having a bit of a rough night…they come and go…Drawing generally helps me calm down enough to sleep properly…,” he admitted while scratching the back of his head. While doing so though, he saw the shirt he had lent her on the floor…his face began to heat up dramatically as he realized what that meant.

Giving him a concerned look, Crucent said softly "aww, Im sorry kitty... wanna talk about it? it might help, and i don't mind listening"

pulling her knees up she rested her chin on them as she wrapped her arms around her legs and focused on him "or, if you want, your welcome to sleep here if you rather just want some company. I'll try my best to be a good girl" Laughing a little she winked at him, trying to help him get over whatever had caused him to wake up in the first place.

Gohrick stared back at her with a faint smile. “It is quite alright…just…just a nightmare is all…about times already past…” he said quietly with a faint shiver, his fur sticking up for a moment before setting once again.

He stared back up at her and smiled with a slight chuckle. “A good girl huh?” he said with a playful wink.
“Well…I won’t lie, I wouldn’t mind the company, and I’ll try and be on my best behavior as a humble feline,” he said, her idea working already at distracting his troubled mind.
“Um…would you prefer to put this back on?” he asked, bending down and picking up the shirt he had given her with another playful wink.

Blushing just a very little bit, Cru took the shirt "of course, just give me a second." pulling the bedsheet over her head, there was some muffled grunts and various arms poking at the sheet, before her head emerged again, blowing some stray hair from her eyes.

"There we go, all done, now im safe to be around again" giggling a little, she shifted a little so she was more on the far side of the bed to make more room for him.

Gohrick found himself laughing slightly as she squirmed under the sheets and shook his head, before smiling as she emerged. He reached over and gently brushed some of her bangs behind her ear, before pulling back with a smile.

“Safe to be around? Hm…I don’t know,” he said teasingly, before setting the bag on the floor and moving up on the bed, pulling the covers up to his waist, but sitting against the headboard with his arms over his head. He found himself just staring at Cru with a soft smile, before realizing he was staring and looking up at the ceiling with a flush under his fur.

“Thanks Cru…for the company…,” he said softly with a content smile on his face.

Feeling his paw against her cheek, she looked into his eyes, perhaps a little longer then really needed before she pulled herself together and playfully swatted after him instead when she heard his comment and said "well, we are gonna be sleeping silly, how much trouble can we possibly get into?" As he settled down she laid down as well, then put away the book before hearing him thanking her for the company at wich point she rolled onto her back again and looked up at him.

"my pleasure kitty, you helped me earlier, so I get to help you now"

Snuggling up to him, she rolled over on her side, facing him and slipped an arm around his waist then gave him a light peck on the cheek "sleep well and sweet dreams kitty" then rested her head on his shoulder as she closed her eyes and tried to get to sleep

Gohrick smiled and settled in to the bed, laying on his back and staring over at Cru. He couldn’t help but just smile, she was truly an amazing friend and he found himself lucky to have her in his life.

“I don’t know…kinda curious to find out though,” he said with a playful smile, before wrapping an arm around her shoulders and his tail around her waist, just holding her lightly.

“Hm…not too sure how I really helped you out…but it was my pleasure Cru…and you’ll always have my support and help if ever needed,” he said softly, before lowering his head and kissing the top of hers as he just held her closely with a soft and content purr.

“Sweet dreams Cru…” he said softly, staring into the darkness of the room, not quite able to sleep yet, but feeling far more calm then he had when he first woke up.

Opening one eye to look at him she said a little slurred "you helpd me... by lettn me sleep herre 'nstead of out thrr..." Closing her eye again, she nuzzled her nose against his neck, then inhaled his scent deeply and smiled sleepily too herself as he smelled very nice, plus his purr felt like a very private and quite enjoyable earthquake against her ear, tickling her gently.
Finally sleep overtook her and soon her breathing became steady and slow, a sure sign that she was off playing with the fairies as it were, still with an arm around his waist.

Gohrick turned his head to disagree, but saw she had already falling into a deep sleep. Smiling at the sight, he continued to watch her for a few moment, before lightly hugging her and staring up at the ceiling. It had been a long day, and nightmare or not, his body was worn thin from the stress of the hunt. He wondered at times how his mother could do this so often…hm…now that was a thought that hadn’t crossed his mind in years…he wondered how the family was doing…

Closing his eyes, Gohrick soon fell into a light sleep, holding Cru lightly throughout the night, purring happily the entire time.

Waking up the next morning Cru savoured the feeling of beeing warm and relaxed not opening her eyes just yet, at least, till she felt something around her waist. On closer inspection, it turned out to be Goh's tail, and she felt oddly snug and safe.
Wathing him still soundly asleep next to her. she smiled a little as she leaned up on one arm and gently kisseed him on his lips as she murmured "good morning kitty, time to rise and shine..."

Gliding a hand up his torso, she caressed his chest with her nails, scratching him gently till he started waking up at last.

Gohrick found himself squirming from the scratches, still deep asleep, as if having some sort of dream. He became still once more, before squirming once again, before his arm and tail tightened their hug on Cru and held her closely. He stopped moving once more, shivering slightly before a deep purr reverberated through his chest and over his lips. He was clearly having some sort of dream, and was still deep asleep.

Rolling her eyes Cru just chuckled quietly, then sat up on him and leaned down her mouth was by his ear, then blew gently then licked all along his ear.

"Come on kitty, time to get up and seize the day.... cause if you don't, ill just keep on doing this for the rest of today"

Even in the deep of sleep, an ear lick could certainly have a wonderful effect on the feline, and a soft moan passed over his lips as he held on to her even more tightly. As he snuggled into Cru, he found his claws lightly scratching her side as leg moved over her own and held on to it tightly. This was either a very good dream, Goh was a really deep sleeper, or even in his dreams, he was enjoying her company and touches.
