Another day in Heaven.... -_- (Open, fun, a little adventure) Gohrick, others PM to join

Smirking Crucent shifted her hips a little till she was more comfortable before she leaned down again and kissed him once more. spotting his tail she gently took a hold of it, and began stroking it as she leaned down and gently bit his shoulder, just enough to make him wake up for the slight pain.

"Come on Goh, let me see those pretty blue eys of yours and wake up now, we have a monster to find, remember?"

He kissed her back softly as his dream found itself turning more and more realistic, softly gasping out as he felt the bite on his shoulder. He moaned softly, his eyes still closed as his paws started to run over her sides and hip lightly, his thighs pulling her leg slightly. His ears twitched slightly as he heard her voice, his lips parting slightly, as if trying to say something, his tail tightening around her waist.

laughing softly Cru nuzzled her nose against his and said "Come on kitty, i *know* your awake now, so you might as well give up or I will have to tickle you next!"
Leaning back so she was now sitting up again she ran her fingers across his chest down towards his belly, tracing the darker furmarkings outwards to his sides wit her fingertips.

"And i mean it too, there will be no mercy for you if I have to do that." Grinning playfully she lightly grazed her fingers all the way up from his hips to under his arms to show she meant buisness.

Gohrick smiled and opened one eye lightly before sticking out his tongue playfully. “Well…you certainly cannot blame a feline for enjoying the attention and wanting it to continue…monster hunt or not, this is far more enjoyable,” he said, his voice a bit cracky from just waking up. He had been away since the scratches, but it had blended in so well with his dream, he wasn’t too sure if he was awake or still dreaming.

“Mmm…I have to say, it is quite a joy to wake up to someone so lovely,” he said with a grin, before hugging her tightly once more, nuzzling against her neck and shoulder lightly.

Laughing as he looked at her, Cru wrapped her arms around him and pulled him close "Yes, I KNEW you were awake! I win!" Kissing him on his head she replied "no, I can't blame you, and yes, this is definately better, but as enjoyable as this is, and trust me, Im enjoying it just as much as you are, we still need to get going kitty. I have plans for that creature, and the sooner I pay it back, the better."

Sliding herself off his lap, she knew he must have felt just how much she had wanted to stay in bed, but decided not to comment, or they would probably never get out of the room. Instead she kissed his cheek lightly and said " thats for letting me sleep over, thanks pretty kitty."

He laughed and nuzzled her with a grin. “Yes yes…well, honestly…between the dream and your…um…nevermind that right now…” he said, blushing under his fur and turning his head slightly to avoid a more embarrassing situation. “Hm…yes…the beast that scared off your Chocobo…Honestly, I’m torn between hunting it or giving it a treat…after all, it lead me to you, and that certainly deserves some sort of reward…and wow that was corney…” he said with a giggle, before snuggling her tightly.

He pouted slightly as she slid away from him, smiling from the kiss, but already missing the warmth. He sighed and stretched out without thinking as the covers were kicked off of him, arching his body with a loud yawn. “Hm…anytime you want Cru, my home is your home,” he said with a smile, before yawning heavily once more and hearing his body creak and crack as he stretched again.

“Alright…lets go monster hunting,” he said with a feral grin.

standing up Cru turned to look at him as he stretched then just went "o... i see" before biting her lip a little, her eyes now glued to Goh.
Only when she heard him suggest giving the monster a treat did she snap out of it and as she turned her back against him she started unbuttoning the shirt and said over her shoulder "why not just send it flowers instead, preferrably to its grave if I get a say in the matter..."

Letting the shirt fall onto the bed, she grabbed her own clothes and pulled on her teeshirt and a pair of panties first before she turned around again and said " as for it's whereabouts... i *think* it was about 100 yards from the river, going upstream, so I suggest we start there"
Pulling the last belt tight on her harness, she looked at Goh again

"Shall we go?"

Gohrick found himself freezing for a moment as he watched the shirt drop off her body and just couldn’t look away from her. He knew he should have been getting ready at the same time, but he wasn’t used to seeing someone just drop their clothing right in front of him like that…this was not helping with the motivation to go monster hunting…

As she turned around and continued to dress, he had the decency to blush and quickly look away, before getting up and out of bed himself. He quickly pulled out a pair of jeans and boxers, before mentally shrugging and dropping his shorts himself with his back to Cru. He quickly donned his shorts and jeans, before turning around and grabbing a jacket from the closet.

“That’s not too far at all…with some luck, we might get some fresh tracks…its bound to be the biggest thing in that forest…everything else I ran into was my size, save for that headless thing…” he said with a smile, before putting on the jacket and grabbing his weapons and putting it on his back.

“I’m ready when you are,” he said with a grin, before leading the way back to the grapple hook on the second floor, then back down to the jungles.

"As long as its there and willing to die, I'm not gonna complain at all, besides, I seem to have too much energy at the moment, so a fight might do me good, help get it out of my system as it were" As they headed into the jungle again and back to the river, Crucent gave Goh her sweetest smile "I can't imagine where I have all this pent up energy from, can you?"

Still feeling a little naughty however, Cru couldn't help giving his butt a light smack as she laughed softly and ran off through the trees.

“Oh, even if its not willing to die, it will…” he said with a grin, before laughing slightly, bouncing on the heels of his feet. He was just as excited and pumped up…he could only attest it to Cru. It had been a nightmare free night once they were together, and he hadn’t been woken up six times gasping for breath.

He yelped slightly as he was brought out of his thoughts as she playfully slapped his ass, causing him to playfully growl, before running after her. This was an interesting game…hunting together while hunting his partner…”Not a clue, but I’m not complaining…extra energy will certainly be fun to burn off,” he said with a grin, following close behind her as she lead the way to the attack sight.

Quickly they reached the place where that damned thing had leapt at her and she broke off her run, then looked around the jungle thicket for any hint of the monster's whereabouts.

"Well, this is the place, you can still see the flattened grass where it leapt out at me, but who knows where it is now...."

Strapping on her Claws, she wasn't about to be jumped at again by this thing, wherever it was hiding right now. Standing right next to Goh, she turned to him and pulled him in close for a quick kiss and said "just dont let it hurt you okay?"

Gohrick looked around the area and saw the grass, giving Cru a nod. He saw her putting on her claws and he pulled out the small paintbrush himself.

“Well, just keep a keen eye out, and stay on your toes…” he said with a smile, before kissing her back softly.

“I’ll be fine Cru, but you watch yourself as well…You watch my back, I’ll watch yours…” he said with a grin, before his tail reached around and gave her ass a playful pat.

He then turned and looked down at the flattened grass, lowering his head and sniffing the ground. He blinked a few times as his ears twitched…the hunting ground was set…

“It jumped you here…then…” he paused and crawled forward on all fours, staring intently, his vivid blue eyes scanning the area around them…He looked back at the ground and saw the gash in the earth…

“I think…it went this way,” he said, seeing some more flattened grass as the scent of Grendel was in the air.

Smiling at him she replied jokingly "aww, such a shame, but if that's all I'll be allowed to watch then I guess I'll just have to manage."

Watching him start to sniff the ground to get the scent of the monster, Crucent was impressed at how good he was at hunting. Allthough she had better hearing then most others, she didn't have the added bonus of a good sense of smell like Mithrans had, and she sometimes envied them that ability.

Following him easily enough as they started tracking the Grendel, she tried to remember as much about it from her own brief encounter as she could. It seemed to her it was some kind of small dragon, wich usually meant fire and various bad physical spells. Frowning a little as she had practically no curative magic herself, she tried to come up with a means of killing it as quickly as possible, not really expecting it to go down fast, unless Goh had some tricks up his sleeves.

Gohrick paused and gave the ground another sniff, before nearly reeling back in disgust. He fanned his nose and gagged slightly. “Ohh…yeah, its around…and I think I just found it’s bathroom…” he said, giving his head a shake. He looked around and saw a few downed trees and a lot of flattened areas in the grass. As he walked forward, he heard something snap under foot. Looking down, he saw bone fragments…

“Home sweet home…” he muttered, looking around what could only be called an open den. Now, the Grendel wasn’t overly large, but at 8 feet tall and about 13 feet long, it wasn’t a small fry. However, for the size, the creature had a pretty large den.

“I guess it’s out hunting…,” he said softly, turning his head and looking up at Cru. “We can set up here and when it shows up…we can get our kill,” he said softly. “However…we can’t have our scent everywhere here…we should stay in this area, that way we can get the jump on it and –“ his plan was interrupted by a vicious roar to their left…so much for the element of surprise.

As they got to the Grendels sleeping place, Crucent tried hard not to laugh at Goh's sniffing incident but still reemained focused on the task at hand and it was a good thing too cause straight after he had told her it was out hunting, they both heard a teeth-rattling roar.

Turning to look towards the direction it came from Crucent's eyes narrowed, all fun and games over for now cause there was the monster that had attacked her, the one from the card; Hunched down on it's front legs and in an attack position, it stood about 65 feet from them and threw its head back then let out another ear-deafening roar before lunging at the pair of them snapping it's massive jaws trying to bite them.

Jumping back quickly; Crucent cursed as she lept onto it's back and balled up her laft hand and slammed it into the dragons upper ribcage before yanking her arm back and leaping off again rolling away from it as she didn't fancy getting bitten, or worse before she sprang too her feet again.

Gohrick quickly unsheathed his paint brush and pulled out the smaller one, tucking it behind his ear. They needed to do this, and fast. The longer this creature was allowed to live, the tougher the fight would become. As he watched Cru jump right at it, he quickly ran away, before circling around, trying to get towards its side. He didn’t want it to have any clear group shots, and the more they kept its attention divided, the better their chances were.

The Grendel roared in pain as the claws cut into its tough hide, not deep, but enough to enrage an already angry creature. He turned his head and tracked Cru, his bright green eyes keeping focused on the elvann. It inhaled deeply, before roaring once more, a blast of fire being shot out towards her.

Gohrick cursed, before giving his brush a mighty swing, the ink flying off of it and striking the creature, creating a slew of shallow cuts along its back and hide with his Sharp Edge, before roaring loudly himself to catch it’s attention.

The Grendel stumbled forward, covered in the special ink, before turning around and charging after Gohrick, causing the feline to start give another swing of his brush, throwing more ink into the ground and air, seemingly trying to make more of a mess, since there was no cutting on the creature.

"oh no you don't you over-grown lizard!!!"

After the Grendel had blasted a jet of Fire after her wich she didn't quite miss, getting rewarded with a light burn on her left upper arm, she saw that it was now charging at Goh. Getting to her feet again, she ignored tha pain for now and started running directly at the creature now that it had its focus on him.
Having gotten up to full speed, she threw herself down on her knees and slid underneath its more vulnerable belly and slashed against the softer skin with both arms before skidding to a halt on the other side of it as she then ducked and rolled, not wanting to be hit with more Fire, or worse.

The Grendel squealed in pain as the claws cut deep in its softer belly, stumbling and rolling over to move away from the painful creature. It glared and roared deeply, digging its claws into the ground before a dark red aura seemed to cover it. It then turned quickly, and sent out what looked like a red line, its Tail Blade, cutting through some of the taller grasses, showing just what it could do.

“Ah crap, no you don’t!” Gohrick yelled, before running quickly and jumping off one of the trees, diving right in front of the attack and blocking it with his brush, feeling the cuts on his arms and shoulders with a dark hiss, but having stopped it from hitting Cru. He then looked around the ground and gave another flourish with his brush, spreading more ink around the ground and towards the creature.

“Cru, make the next shot count…hit hard, your claws are the only thing that can hurt it fast…” he said softly, staring at the green eyes, before it roared and started charging towards Gohrick.

“Step into my web…” he muttered, before grabbing the smaller paint brush and placing it in a puddle of ink in the ground. From that one point, a line of ink shot out, connecting to the next spot, then the next, then the next, creating a web of ink that connected to the Grendel, holding it tightly in place as they wrapped around it and held it up, exposing its soft belly, already bleeding, before the ink swirled and created several bulls eyes for Cru to hit.

Seeing what Goh was doing, Cru nodded and quickly closed her eyes a little as she summoned all her remaining energy.

Opening her eyes again, she started running, like a gymnast, then as she was right in front of its nose, did a somersault onto its neck, punched both her Claws into its ears and hit the brain then ripped them out again before rolling herself further down its back where she immidiately went after the bullseyes, kicking and punching them all in swift succession until there only was one left, right over the Grendels heart at wich point she grabbed its horn and swung herself off its back, over its head and slammed into its ribcage with both feet together.

Just as Cru let go of the horn, the monster howled in pain, shuddered violently as it thrashed with its legs then with a final jerk it collapsed on the ground, dead.

Panting hard, Crucent looked down on her arm, wich was both bleeding and a bit burned as she sat down on a rock. Turning to look at Goh she asked "are you okay?"

As Gohrick held the web together for her, he watched as she brutally took the creature apart, bit by bit, hitting each bulls eye and then some. He was both awed and terrified of such a display, causing him to gulp slightly and mentally note never to get on Cru’s bad side…he wouldn’t stand a chance against those claws…

Hearing the last dying breaths of the creature, he released the technique, before his other knee hit the ground followed by his paws, panting slightly and shaking his head. That blade had hurt badly for the feline, who wasn’t used to taking physical abuse. He shook slightly, before slowly getting back up to his feet and walking over to the dead creature.

“That was some sight Cru,” he said with a small smile, before pulling out a small knife. He walked over to the creature, before seeing that she had already done some of the work, seeing the hole in the skull. He cut it open a bit more, before seeing what he was looking for. It was bright red compared to the grey around the brain, and hard as a rock. He pulled it out with a slight look of disgust, before wiping it clean.

“And behold…a Fury Fragment…” he said with a small smile, pocking it and looking at the creature. He then smirked slightly, before pulling out a small piece of paper and drawing something on it, before it glowed faintly and a small ink flower was pulled out of the paper.

“You said to put a flower in its grave right?” he said with a slightly tired smile to Cru, before placing the flower in the creature.

Laughing weakly Crucent felt the adrenaline wear off and she looked at Goh's wound.

Murmuring she said fondly "you silly kitty, you didn't have to try and take that blow. I'm a monk, I can handle it better then you can."

Kissing the tip of his nose by way of saying thank you she slipped her arm around his waist as she looked at the fragment in his hand. "ok Tiger, come on so we can get it and you back to the ship, and frankly I'd like some TLC as well, beeing burned to a crisp isn't my idea of a good time."

Heading off back to the Airship, Crucent looked sideways at Goh and smiled a little as she said "but you are probably the best painter I've ever met, thanks for saving my butt back there."

He chuckled slightly before leaning against her slightly. “Yeah…you might be able to take the hit easier than me…doesn’t mean you should though…bad enough you got burned,” he said with a soft smile, looking up into her eyes, before giving the fragment another look. “I still have no clue how Kyto is going to use this for the ship though…” he muttered, before pocketing it and slowly leading the way to the ship.

“Some TLC, R&R, and calming time is certainly in store once we get back…and next time, Kyto can deal with that thing…he’s a monk as well, and has a mean straight punch…” he said, and explained who everyone was on the ship and what they specialized in, just in case she ran into any more of them.

As they boarded the ship, Kyto approached the pair, to which Goh just tossed him the Fragment. “That’s your only one…use it well Kyto,” he said simply with a slight shake of his head, before leading the way back to the second floor.

As they returned to the second floor Crucent looked at her arm again and shrugged " eh, my arm's not so bad, I just need to either get some ointments and a bandage, or a mage to heal it. As for you, well... a little bandages might be a good thing then I think bed for the both of us."

Giving him a sideways look she couldn't help herself and gave him her sweetest smile as she said teasingly " and it's entirely up to you if that will be together or in separate rooms, but I promise to just relax and keep my hands to myself."

“Hm…well, have some bandages and such in my room, and later on, if Setona’s not too busy, he can take a look at them for us and see if they need to be accelerated healing or not,” he said with a slight nod of his head, before continuing down the well beaten path to his room.

He smiled slightly as he opened the door for her and followed on in, giving her a playful grin. “Well, if it’s up to me, then I say one room, one bed, because that was probably the best sleep I’ve had in months…,” he admitted with a slight grin, scratching the back of his head. “And if you promise to behave, then I guess I shall as well,” he said, before leaning up and giving her cheek a playful lick. “You can hit the showers first,” he said with a nod of his head.

Nodding Crucent replied "sounds good to me."

After he said she could shower first, Crucent smiled and strapped off her harness and armguards as she walked towards the bathroom, setting them in a corner to be looked over later in case they needed any repairs. Taking off the rest off her clothes, she stepped into the shower and turned on the water, closing her eyes as the water cascaded over her body. Gritting her teeth as it ran along her arm and across her wound she cleaned it as best she could before getting a soap and washed herself properly and rinsing off.

Stepping out, she wrapped a towel around herself and dried off the worst of the water, finally feeling almost decent again then returned to the bedroom.

"there you go Kitty, shower's all yours."

Looking around she couldn't find the shirt she had used the night before, so after Goh had gone to the bathroom, she waited till she heard water running again before taking the towel off and drying herself throrroughly before she slipped into bed again.
