Michael Paladin's Guide to Asking Questions

((Mr. Paladin wrote this up to keep helpful information continue going in an organized manner with the growing number of members flowing in the site. Most likely questions would be covered in the chatbox, but it's also helpful to have a procedure to follow should that not be the case at any time.))

If you have a question about some particular rule, template, item, etc., just ask on the CB. 90% of the time, there is a staff member active on the CB.
On the off chance that there isn't a staff member on the CB (Very rare occurrence, but it can happen!) PM a Site Advisor first. That means PM either me or Barret with your question. That's what we're here for, after all.
If a day has passed and neither Barret nor I have responded to your PM with an answer, move up a rung and PM one of the Moderators. There's four of them (albeit one's currently missing in action), and they're plenty friendly, as well as plenty knowledgeable.
If another day has passed, and none of the Moderators have responded with an answer, PM Crucent, who is the Co-Admin. of the site If you've managed to get this far, then you've either run into bad luck, you've bumped into a question none of us know about, or you're simply being ignored by us all. If it's the third thing, inform Kindred immediately.
If yet a third day has passed, with no answer from anyone, PM Kindred. She may swamped over her head, but she will definitely take action as to WHY your questions haven't been addressed, as well as getting what answers you need.
If your question has gone unanswered for four days, post it in the Questions forum where it can be seen by the whole site. If this doesn't work, you've got a hella hard question and need to rethink whatever it is you're asking about.
