Book of the Week

Decided I'd do something with my time and start recommending books to the members. The main thing is, these will actually be books that I've read already, and finished, so if I don't finish a book that particular week, I'll probably be recommending one I've read a while back. And, uh, please. No comments on the books I recommend. I know some of you might not like my recommendations, but that's no reason to come in here and jack the thread.



With that said, onto the first recommendation. I didn't finish any books this week, so I'll be taking from past experience. If you're a fan of espionage and such things, I'd recommend reading the "Alex Rider" series. From memory, there's about eight books. First is Stormbreaker, so you should start there. There's a different villain each book (Outside of the last three.) but they are meant to be read in order. I thoroughly enjoyed it, although the mid-book suspense was easy to read and predict.

One week has passed, and I actually finished a book last week. That book also happens to be this week's BotW. The name of this week's book of the week is -insert drumroll here- 7th Sigma. It's a dystopian science fiction novel that'll definitely keep you up late turning pages. Fair warning, there is foul language in the book, but the occurences are so few and far between that it will not affect your reading. Unless you're particularly sensitive. The book is very detailed in its descriptions, so prepare for some very vivid scenes.
