Are Items Possible?

Odd query; what are the rules in regards to items? Chotar used a potion on an npc during his first post. When I think back on this I had simply been assuming that they would be around. While I was writing the second I noticed this and drew a blank. I couldn't find a single thing on items.

Can we use items? Should we?

Will we be able to create items in a similar manner to the spells? They are one shots and cost money or time to acquire; however gil is rather easy to amass and who doesn't love grinding ruby dragons for fire fangs?

There are several issues that Items could create. The biggest possible abuses among them I can think of are the attack/grenade style, hero, vaccine, and ether. That is to say tier 2-3 elemental attacks, buffs, and mp recovery. Nothing that hasn't been dealt with elsewhere for similar reasons.

The reason I ask if we can create them similar to spells is because they would have to have post limits. Maybe a set number of item types based on posts and then a limit on how often they could be used. Items don't cost mp and that seems to be the normal swap over; time for power.

Anyway no rush; just curious mainly. I can simply write around them easily enough for now.

That sort of item thing is just used to be a plot device, if the person tried to do such a thing during or after a real PvP fight the hammer would of dropped down on the person hard. Items just too much trouble I think but if someone wants to try to make it work, good luck to them and more power to them.

Ok, as of now we have no rules for items. If it is an item that has a spell linked to it (such as a hhealth potion, grenade, or something similar) it is a silent rule that it should be made into a spell.

But if it is just a minor item, you can automatically say you have it.
