Update on situation

Massive power failure and debris from huge t-storm. Will update later. For now, I am out of commission for the foreseeable future.

We had the same tornado/hurricane/monsoon storm here, Simon. I'm sure your foreseeable future will be tomorrow or Sunday

We had the same thing thursday. Most of the region is still underwater. One of the local highschools was so badly flooded that the roof collapsed and most of it floated away! (Yes we do get tornadoes here too. And yes they are just as devastating)
My house is drying out. Even though I cleaned up the flood water and then cleaned the floor with bleach and every other kind of chemical I had, there is a layer of green slime that keeps forming on the damn floor. ><

And the end of my finger is disgusting. It won't heal, its deeper than I thought and you can see the muscle. And I got other stuff going on that I don't want to share, its nobodys business but mine.

I'll get to my posts as soon as I get back from buying more chemicals to put on my floor. And laundry. And dishes. And everything else that needs doing because no one is going to clean up my mess for me.

Ack! Sympathies and hugs for everyone!

I hate that I'm so far away and can't actually help anyone.

...Wow. My problems seem kinda silly, now.

I'm at my grandma's at the moment, since we're still out of electricity. And, our water heater's electric. I'm hearing people talk like we'll have power as soon as 6 this evening, or sometime wednesday, and everything in between. We're not flooded out, and structural damage is minimal. THere's just tree bits all over the place that're gonna take forever to clean up.

So, yeah, just an update to the update. Tifa, I hope you're able to get things cleaned up. And, that your health issues don't get any worse.

I sent you a PM about your floor, Tifa.... I wish it was better news.

But please get that finger looked at >< I finally broke down and saw a Dr about this stupid back, so now it's your turn *shoves you into dr's office and straps you to a chair*

Next on my list..... Find Tifa a man slave to do house chores....

CLOSEST THING TO A REAL LIFE ZACK I COULD FIND!!

One step ahead of ya, Shadeysmurf! I went last week. Its not infected and its just going to take a while longer than normal to heal because there's so much flesh missing. I have to keep it dry and let nature do its thing. I bought those sexy rubber gloves for doing the dishes..... What have I become?! O__O

I got the environmental whoosie peeps coming tomorrow to spray some stuff on the concrete floor and kill the slime before it gets a chance to mutate and take over the world (been watching too many cheesy monster movies)

There's just general cleanup to do now. Most of the water has drained away, there's only the really low lying areas that are still floating. I'm on a hill ^^
