Role Playing Rules

As a new member, we do require a few things before you jump right in and get started. First of all, you are to read the Site Rules and the Terms of Service.

Now, before you begin, please note that this is not a video game. This site is based solely on your own imagination and creative writing. You will be interacting with other member’s characters through posting.

POST LENGTH:
We ask for a 10 sentence minimum post. If you struggle with this, we encourage you to ask for assistance.


OOC (Out of Character) Comments:
OOC comments are to be used with moderation and for the purpose of directing the RP or resolving conflicts. If you wish to strike up an OOC conversation, please do so via PM or in the Chat Box.


Godmodding, Rhinohiding, and Auto Hitting, Spell Chaining:

Godmodding is the act of controlling a situation, an event, or a fight, without giving room for others to act or react. Or disregarding others actions. No beheading, dismemberment, or killing of another character.

Rhinohiding is when you're dodging all attacks and/or being unaffected by such attacks. Simply acting invincible is Rhinohiding.

Auto Hitting is when you strike someone without allowing them to react in anyway. This includes trying to re-write an action a member has already played out.

Spell Chaining is when your character continuously attacks an opponent without break or attacking a single or group of characters so many times in one post that it becomes all but impossible or taxing for the other character/s to respond. Spell chains therefore are limited to a maximum of three spells per post, per individual target. (This includes Summon Spells, Weapon Skills, etc...)


NO killing of other's characters:
The ONLY time killing off another character is permitted is if consent is given by that user of the character.


Private & PM to Join Threads:
When the topic says "PRIVATE" this means that those involved in the thread are most likely developing a plot/storyline between their members only. You can not join unless you specifically ask the member who started the thread. If you do barge in without permission, your post(s) will be deleted and you will be given a warning. Repeated offences will lead to further disciplinary action.


Regarding multiple accounts:
We allow each member two separate accounts.
Both may be custom characters (one Party Member to each)
One account may be a canon character.
No canon characters are permitted to be Party Members


Changing Character:
You should get permission from an administrator before changing your character. This action cannot be undone.
Admins must inform all staff members that this has occurred by way of an announcement in the staff section.
