Exploring a new Environment (Open)

Standing there for a moment Michael looks at Arianrhod with a dumbfounded look on his face feeling kinda stupid Michael Replies "That's a valid point we don't know the dude and we have no number or anything to contact him with. hmm" Michael kneels back down and looks through the papers still laying on the ground in hopes of find anything that may help them arrange a meeting with the researcher. "Dammit there is nothing here no name, address, or even a phone number. Nothing that would help us in meeting the guy, oh well perhaps it is for the best. After all this researcher is Ex-Shin-Ra, who knows it could be true that he is looking to take down Shin-Ra or could be a ruse to draw us out of hiding. Either way I'm not going to sit around and let that happen, well for the time being lets not worry about this. Let us head back to the hotel, i would like you to meet my mom and pop."

Ari nodded in agreement. "Yes, i would like to meet your... mom and pop." She said the words slowly, as unfamiliar with them as she was, but then her curiosity got the better of her again. "Why do you call the one by the designation given to carbonated beverages of a non-alcoholic nature?"

She had a long way to go in terms of socialization and fitting in with the way things work outside The Facility.

She followed Micheal amiably enough, though, as they traveled to the hotel where his parents were staying. She wondered what they would be like, how they would respond to her, what they would think about the willingness of their offspring to accept into the unit a stranger to them. Most of all she wondered when The Facility would track her down and make their move.

But all she could do was wonder until the consequences were revealed.

Michael smiles at Arianrhod saying "That's good I'm sure they will be pleased to meet you, as for why i call my dad after a carbonated beverage, its a kinda a nick name i gave him cause he is always so full of energy and if you bother him enough he explodes in a nasty rage then settles back down to a calm state of mind."

Looking over to Arianrhod Michael asks"This may not be my place to ask but how long have you be outside the facility walls in the real world?" Seeing she was still adjusting to her new life and her freedom Michael wanted to make sure that she was able to make the best of everything and to keep the people of Shin-Ra away from taking her back to the facility.

To be completely honest, Arianrhod wasn't certain just why Micheal would claim that asking such a question was out of place. She was quite accustomed to the intrusive curiosity of the Researchers, though she knew that matters were handled differently "outside".

She nodded in response to his question. "It has been some few weeks. When I found that I had escaped I... I simply started moving and was not careful about keeping track of the days, just the distance. When I arrived at the Universal Metroplex... I began counting the days, mostly so I would not miss a race by accident."

She smiled. "I am a rider of a racing chocobo. Cocoa is..." she paused, "she is unlike any other living being I have met. I think I would call her a friend." Thankfully that was a word she now understood.
