Just Another Day (Open)

Balendin flew through the air and smashed into some rocks behind him. He had let himself be caught off guard, but it would not happen again. He picked himself up and dusted himself off before launching himself into the air just in time to avoid the incoming Zaghnol. As he ascended, he looked around. It seemed that he was at Pinnacle Rocks. Balendin had stumbled into a tunnel under Treno and had decided to follow it here. He personally had no plans on visiting Lindblum, but since he was so close he figured he might as well stop in.

Balendin hit the ground about twenty feet behind the red, horned monstrosity. This Zaghnol seems particularly angry, then again Balendin had never met a Zaghnol that did not have a sour disposition. Balendin began running forward, and was soon followed by the Zaghnol. Balendin ran straight for what appeared to be a dead end with the Zaghnol close at hand. Balendin jumped up at the rock wall in front of him and pushed off it with his legs launching himself towards the Zaghnol. His glaive appeared in his hands and he thrust it forward aiming at the Zaghnol's mouth. His aim was true and the entire length of the glaive was jammed down the Zaghnol's throat.

The Zaghnol fell to the ground and Balendin launched himself into the air and landed a distance away. The beast thrashed around for a bit and then was still. Balendin summoned his glaive back to his hand and, after cleaning it in a nearby stream, proceeded on down the path towards Lindblum.
