Unleash the Squiggle Fury (Exclusive Topic)

It was an everday event at The Brigade headquarters, Bernhardt was dealing with a client in the back and Tora was playing with some of the squiggles. A Squiggle, as it was explained by Rhodes, were cute squirrel creatures that were caused by the breeding of Skitt a mutated squirrel and a regular squirrel. The young couple had obviously been quite busy considering they were all over the place in the headquarters. Several were stationed up at desks taking in clients that needed things done around town or elsewhere. They has several different stations that many different squiggle with many different talents were. Tonight however some of Rhodes 'colleagues' were coming over for a visit after recieving a message that Rhodes had something special to give them that would be able to help them in their endeavors. The clients Rhodes was working with were standing up and shaking hands with Rhodes, he stood up and walked over to a small stage that was set up and sat down. Of course by this time Tora was interested in what he was doing so he walked over there and sat behind and over one row, leaning over the chair beside him.
"So whats with the stage and all those calls you made earlier."Rhodes just looked at Tora and smiled as he said.
"We are just about to share some of our success with the world."Tora looked at him in puzzlement, but grinned because he thought this was going to be interesting. Skitt came from behind the curtain and sat on Rhodes's lap, chuckling.
"Looks like your son Skittles take after you more than we originally thought, huh buddy?"

Raven pulled up in front of the shop Bernhardt Rhodes had told him to meet him at. He hopped off of his bike and stared at the store-front. The last time he had seen Rhodes, they met in a place much like this one. That was also the first night he had met Shade. Quite a coincidence that they had ended up brother and sister. That night was actually pretty memorable, as Raven still had the scars on his legs where the crystal shards had dug deep into his thigh.

Earlier on the phone, Mr. Rhodes had seemed excited about something, but wouldn't tell Raven what it was. Raven assumed it was another mission like the last, infiltrate a compound, cause a distraction while he stole something, and blow the place up to cover their trail. Of course, like last time, Raven was expecting the man to have a team of people that Raven didn't know either that he would be forced to work with. But Raven puhed all that aside. He had come a long way since that night and now he felt like he could easliy deal with anything.

As he walked through the doors, though, he was met with a very different sight. All over the counters and such were small squirrels scrambling about completing tasks. A few of them reminded him of Skittles, Shades small furry friend. He made his way past all of them and walked straight up to Rhodes. "You called, making it sound urgent. What's going down?"

Rhodes turned around as someone spoke from behind him. Rhodes stood up andwent to shake his hand.
"Well, well Raven glad you could make it, the first guest here for this little exclusive."
Tora walked up to the stage and grabbed hold of the microphone, grinning as he began to make an announcement.
"Ok everyone, settle down our first guest has arrived for our little event."
"Tell our friend what he's won Tora."
"Raven my friend you have won what we here at the Brigade call a squiggle, a squirrel with mutagenic abilities, and we have found one that seems to fit you."
Tora clapped his hand and the lights went out, a squiggle shined a light towards the center of the stage as another stepped out from behind the curtain. He was a rather stout little creature wearing a military grade helmet, small zipper jacket, and a cigar in his mouth poking out to one side. He carried a small rifle specifically made for one of his size. His fur was camoflauge instead of brown or black like most squirrels.
"Here we have RAMBO, a squiggle with sniping abilities that rival your own, and thats not all whether it be melee or ranged weapons he is just as good or better than any human."
"Yo, what's up?"
The squiggle was talking which was rather rare amongst them all, he walked up to Raven and looked up at him.
"So this is Raven huh, looks like things will get to be much more interesting."
Tora pressed a button that sent out three targets from the stage floor, Rambo immediately turned around and shot each of the targets dead on.
"The only thing to watch out for is that he is a bit trigger happy."

Raven shook Mr. Rhodes's hand when he had offered it. He wasn't one to disrespect a man. But what happened next made him raise an eyebrow at the two. The cat jumped up on stage and began acting like a cheesy game show anouncer. He looked to Bernhardt. "Is this some kind of a joke, Rhodes?"

He looked at where the spot light landed and his eyes narrowed on the sight of the squirrel dressed in a military get up. If this was Mr. Rhodes way of trying to make a joke at Raven's expense, things were gonna get ugly. Especially, since the thing smoked a cigar like he did before missions.

The little guy walked over to him and looked up at him from under the large ballistic helemet and spoke to him. Raven looked up at Bernhadt. The thing was speaking? All of the ones that Raven had seen could only act like they were speaking, but really just made a lot of squeaks.

Three targets popped up and the small critter whipped around and put each one down with an expertly placed shot. Raven raised an eyebrow to Tora as he said that the rodent was trigger happy. "And you don't think I am?"

The squirrel scampered up the back of Raven's leg and up onto his shoulder. There he pulled out a small spotter's scope and aimed it around the room. So this was how it was going to be. Raven sighed and allowed the little guy to stay there. He wondered if the thing was going to be as much of a pain in the ass to him as Skittles was to Shade.

"Soooo.... now that we got that out of the way... is there anything else I should know about him?"

"All that yoh need to know that he won't attack another Squiggle, or someone who owns one, well unless it's me but we haven't quite figured that one out yet."
Rambo kinda gave a big grin as if he was pleased with an accomplishment he made.
"Another thing is that according to what data we ahve on you he acts exactly like you except for he is a comeplete glutton for desserts of any kind."
"Speaking of do we have any of that cake left in the back for me?"
"We saved you the corner piece with the blue rose ontop."
"Nice selection."
"Other than that you should be able to handle him fine, just dont let him go overboard with the cake. that's his favorite."
Rhodes gave Raven and Rambo a nod as he went back to his seat, and Tora watched as the other squiggles went back to what they were doing. Rambo quickly ran back to a table in the back and grabbed a plate with a piece of marble cake with frosting and quickly chowed down, leaving a frosting mustache on his furry face as he ran back to Raven.

Raven watched the squirrel scramble around for food while listening to Rhodes. At least the thing wasn't going to be that hard to take care of, though he was probably going to be a terror paired with Alivia and Serenity, not to mention... Oh no. Raven pictured Rambo and Skittles running through the Garden... and then the Garden being blown up. Shade and him were going to have to keep them seperate.

He reached his arm down for Rambo to scramble up as he came running back. The little fur ball quickly climbed back up onto Raven's shoulder before sitting back down and staring at him. Raven raised his eyebrows at the critter before saying, "You have a little something on your..." Raven pointed at the area above his lips to indicate for the squirrel where the problem was.

Rambo quickly shot his tongue out and licked the icing off of his face. He saluted Raven and said, "Thanks, Boss."

Raven shook his head in disbelief that he was actually taking one of these things before looking up at Rhodes. "I don't... uh... I don't know what to say..." He rubbed the back of his neck while taking a step back towards the door.

"I guess what I am trying to say is... thank you?" Raven grumbled the last part before walking towards the door and exiting. He had a schedule to keep and since Mr. Rhodes didn't have any truly pressing matters, he had to be on his way.

A general rule of thumb, for those who might be curious about such things...

If there's something cute, eventually Mairi's gonna show up and then heaven help you if you try to get between her and it.

Mairi really wasn't certain if she was supposed to be in this place, but the little Mithra girl had a... reputation for getting into just about anywhere she got her mind into going, and good luck keeping her out... or in for that matter. She saw the squiggles in the rooms and she squealed loud enough to drown out the music for a moment.

"SOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!!!!!!!!!!"

At that point she was romping around, almost on all fours and heedless of how short her skirt was as she did so, trying to huggle each and every one of the adorable offspring of Skitt.

"SOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!!!!!!!!!!"

Tora looked up in surprise to see a young Mithra girl chasing the squiggles about trying to cuddle with each one of them. Rhodes on the other hand couldn't stop laughing. He stood up and approached they young Mithra.
"Young Miss would you like one of these Squiggles to take home with you?"
Tora knew where he was going with this and went behind the curtain. Behind the curtain laid a smaller squiggle, she was a bright pink color with white angel-like wings attached to its back. This squiggle could not only fly but could use Tier 1 Holy Magicks. The sleeping squiggle was carefully picked up by Tora and carried back out unto the stage. Tora sat down at the end of the stage petting the squiggle child as it stretched its wings out slowly and woke up. It looked right at the young Mithra girl and flew with hyperactive sqeaks and squeals around her head before she landed right unto her.
"I thinks she likes you already we named her Kibo meaning Hope in japanese, which is the language I spoke on my original homeworld."
"Kibo, can fly as well as cast low level Holy magicks."

Mairi stopped completely still when she saw the angelic little squiggle. "For me?" She immediately embraced the winged squirrel-child and a look of such absolute joy crossed her face that for a moment the sun itself was eclipsed by her joy. "Kibo, you're so CUTE!!!!!" She kissed the squiggle on her head and then launched herself straight at Bernhardt Rhodes.

"THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek with joyful abandon. "Thank you sooo much!!!! I like Kibo VERY much!!!!"

Then she was dancing around the room with Kibo in her arms, the two of them chattering very much like they understood each other and were getting acquainted. This was either a very good thing... or someone was going to rue the day these two found each other, and that one wasn't going to be Mairi.

Rhodes and Tora smiled at the pair of youngins, they seemed made for one another. Rhodes had a few more people to give some of these special little creatures to, it was just a matter of waiting until they arrived. In the meantime Tora wanted to sing and play on stage, he whistled and 3 other squiggles appeared on stage with instruments made just for them. Tora grabbed a microphone and began to tap his foot to the beat and then once it was time started to sing. (lyrics are link to song)

The squiggle of The Brigade gave small cheers and squeals after the song was over and then went about their normal business. Though many of the female squiggles were gathered around the male band squiggles.
