A Humble Beggining: Leaving Macalania Forest (No fighting please, open)

Alastar quickly left the party for his weapon pouch was not with him. As he scurried along through the woods Alastar took in his surroundings, witch included few monsters to evade. He found his hovel he made camp in and took out his pouch, dispersed his ashes and left it as though he had never been there. He then started back for the others.

Cain smiles and nods as he follows Bala, silently as he looks around the forrest, his own home land lacked just beauty and grace, Nothing but destruction and the genratiors of Midgar, and Sector life.. That places was the temple of mortal Sin, Everything dead or dying, humans craving aliving as druggists, prostitues or murders for hire.. This forrest.. although trechourus it was alive.. pure with its life energy..Cain looks to Bala and speaks softly," Your home.. is very beautiful.. all is as it should.. no makeo genertaors.. no class of who lives where.."As Cain speaks, a memory of his human life, happy within a temple of learning and light and courage.., he snaps out of his memory, he wsaent human anymore, he was the lights divine monster to unleash his hunger upon all enemys of light and his allies..

Bala walked the paths she knew that were near by her home. She had not been able to go much outside of her village. As she walked, she wondered how the other Guado would react to her bringing in an outsider. A light sigh escaped her lips. As she listened to Cain's compliments about her home she smiled slightly. "Thanks, Cain."

If only that were honestly true... Her geta crunched under dead branches for a long while. "Mako generators?" she mused. Her eyes took in the few shacks that made up her town. "Not everything is as it seems, my friend. We Guado tend to be a proud race...except for me. I doubt they will welcome you here." Even I am seen as an outcast because I left the boundaries.

Her head lowered upon entrance of her home, unwilling to see the shame in their faces. Walking to her own house, she quickly entered her house and grabbed her katana. "I made this by hand." Glancing at Cain, she waled back to where they had met the Ronso.

Alastar walked along without giving his presence away to any he past and without leaving a trail for any but a a master of tracking. He pasted many trees he knew such as pine, oak, cherry, and apple. He stuck to the brush as best he could until he arrived back at where he left the others, there were four sets of tracks two going one way and and two coming from that way he reconized them as the same trail so he followed those two trails to catch up. as he went he noticed many plants for healing and some poisons. This turn good day As ran he checked the sun and realized an hour more or less passed, he caught sight of them in the distance and slowed to confirm he was undetected by any enemies about. He was so he continued towards them out of sight as He neared he did a masterfully aimed throw of Bhuail Tintreach up through the trees then down through them missing every branch it struck the ground with it's signature lightning strike. As his shuriken flew Alastar moved into place for his big entrance, he was so well hidden he would not have seen himself at least he did not think he would have. The time came his eyes closed, his aim was true the shuriken struck land the thunder pealed and he quickly retrieved his weapon and posed trying to make it look like he made the lightning by appearing so quickly.

Cain see's the balde and nods, she's a out cast cause her kind do not understand what lies beyond its borders.. so crule.. Cain was about to touch her shoulder as Alastar jumps out of nowhere and Cain hisses out of habit adn fear, but quickly compses himself, and smiles and kneels to the little fur ball," My dear friend you need to becarful, I could have hamred you, and I hate to do that.."SMiles as his eyes clam, turning only crimson istead of a Hunters' cast. Bala nodded solemnly. Nothing was quite the matter, but something still ate at her. Whatever it was, it went away when O'Scath popped up out of nowhere. "Would you kindly stop that? I would greatly appreciate it. Translation: Get on my dang shoulder already!" Her temper was always something that had bothered her, but she'd managed to get under control...unless she was highly annoyed. "Honestly, O'Scath...'The mute should stay out of trouble, because no one can hear them call for help'."

Sea-green eyes took in a very faded image of her parents nearby. They seemed to be grinning and bidding her to go. The young Guado smiled faintly and bowed slightly. She eyed Cain cautiously. His eyes were now crimson, and he seemed to be quite enraged. Her hand fluidly went to his shoulder. It was icy, but she didn't care. Her eyes turned compassionate. She didn't know why, but maybe it was a reaction to having a friend. There were no words, her hands merely belted her katana, Teruyoshi, to her waist. My parents were killed by a Ronso, Cain... she longed to say it, but not in front of Alastar she decided. Bala waited to see if Cain was really who he said, and for the appropriate time.

A dark gleam came to his eyes as he flourished a trio of knifes that quickly disappeared into his pouch. He climbed up onto Bala's shoulder afraid to go too close to the very comfortable location he previously found. he prepared himself for the time to come and for this new thing they seemed to call friendship. The wrong thing was not so bad apparently, but he would have to inform it that he was no rollover.

Cain smiles and walks towards a passage of the forrest and walks to the mouth of the forrest, a clearing finaly in sight he looks back to the two," Are you ready?"He holds out his hand, the dawn slowly rising, the sky purple, the smoke form a not so far town in the distant, Cain smiles at Alastar and Bala and smiles, knowing this world would be a bit diffrent form the forrest, but this was a adventure, and a pilgramage, His skin started to prickle with great discomfort at the sun touch, the skin exposed already turning pink, but he smiles and continues" If you ever get home sick, the road we all will walk can be taken back home.."

Bala's eyes gleamed with determination. A simple slight nod signaled her readiness. She looked out to the clearing and noticed that Cain began to get a sunburn. I wonder what it's like out there... She thought about everything that had happened in the past hundred years. To think not much changes in a century.

The girl looked over to her little furry thing that seemed strange, but she would probably find him to be a good friend. Her head then swiveled over to Cain and nodded once more. With one fluid motion, Teruyoshi had made a upwards diagonal slash. Its blade glistened in the rising sun. I am prepared.

Alastar lounges on Bala's shoulder until she draws her sword at that point he scurries out her arm pulling out his trio of shuriken which he only slightly flourished. after his display he returns to his honored position on her shoulder. He has decided he likes these two, especially the girl.

Cain smiles as he sees thier poses, he knew deep down they were ready, Cain smiles and leads them to towards the human settlement, people smile and look at them and say," Good morning","Good morning Lady Samurai," They seem happy to see the new visitors, Cain looks to Bala," Do you need supplies?" He smiles as his hands starts to turn a painful red, the rest of him in a shadow, as he looks to both Bala and Alastar.

Bala's eyes widened ever so slightly at the human town. It wasn't quite as big as she thought it would be, but she still bowed when people greeted her. It was an honor thing. When she looked over to Cain, she noted that his hands were badly burning. And he asks me if I needed supplies...doesn't much like sunlight...hmmm.

Bala kept her thoughts to herself for the time being. "I'll be right back," she whispered to Cain, "wait here." She motioned for O'Scath to get onto Cain's shoulder. First things first, get him a cloak and some gloves. She sprinted at a very quick speed to a tailor's store. After a short argument of a currency issue, the storekeep agreed to let the Guado cut some wood for her. Taking the fine silken cloak and pure white silk gloves, Bala sprinted back to Cain. "Here, I got you something."

Bala apparently wanted Alastar to go to Cain's shoulder which wasn't happening but he decided to go looking for his brethren, so he left the others to look. He quickly looked over the town without finding a single Moomba so he returned to see them waiting on him. As he came into their midst he felt abashed and it showed on his face.

Cain smiles and nods, his own cloak of Twlight shining as the silver cape shimered, as he looks around, his blood lust only off to the somewhat bearable pain of the sunlight, pain seeming to only spike if he dosent feed regulary, he looks at the young women and smiles, fangs showing more pronounced, as he speaks calmly," yes Bala?* His smile weak a simple beat of her heart, and the hearts of everyone around them, he notices Alastar is upset about something," whats wrong Alastar?"

Bala noted like a fool that Cain had a cloak, but she had hoped he would find some use for the one she held in her hands. If not I can see if the lady takes returns... She swallowed a little when she noticed Cain's fangs. Not that she found them to be overly scary, but she was surprised to say the least.

There was a hunger in his eyes. A hunger that caused Bala to stand very still. "I bought this cloak and these gloves for you." she offered the items with a small bow. Has he been this way all along or is it something else? Wonder how O'Scath is doing... Sea-green eyes had noted the little thing was seemingly saddened, but now was not the time to deal with such things.

Meeting Cain eye to eye, she whispered, "Are you really a vampire? The kind one finds in fantastical books?" Her mind quickly processed to something else. She slipped her kimono sleeve up and revealed her wrist. "Do you need blood?"

Alastar's right fore paw smacks his forehead. Then he goes about explaining what happened, which for a Moomba is all visual. He extends his hand toward Bala and waves it away from her. He taps his chest and waves his hand in a skipping manner. He taps his chest agian and puts his hand to his head and swivels his head around. He taps his chest and holds out his right paw and taps it and hangs his head. He scampers up to Bala's shoulder.

Cain's eyes were almost locked like a monster zeroed in on his prey, His eyes no longer his, but the monster that lies beneath his skin, Cain reaches out for the wrist but pulls her kimono back to its proper postion, and smiles weakly and places the cloak around her Katana, making it look more like a long package, Cain speaks gently," So we dont draw attention to bandits and mercs... as.. for youre question.. N..no Im not a vmapire.. those.. monsters hold no value to any life but there own shells, and those monsters.." He suddenly revials a large Scare on his neck and arm," Give no quarter.. no survivors.. if they feed and bering you to deaths door and leave you, then you become them.. so close to death, yet the only thing that drives them is thier unholy lust for blood.." Cain notices that hes held her arm tightly and releases it, looking down and ashamed," Im.. sorry if I caused you pain Bala.." He holds out a healing tonic and places it gently in her hand and them looks to Alastar on her shoulder, wondering how hed react to his words.. if he even undrestood him.

Bala's eyes locked with those of a monster's. Her heart began to beat faster, carrying even more temptation Cain's way, at least that's what she had assumed. Her eyes showed no fear, for that matter no emotion. His hand had gripped her arm tightly and began to leave a small bruise.

Fear...there is fear in his voice. Her eyes rested thoughtfully on his scar. She looked on it critically, but also with indifference. "It's ok," she whispered, "Really. Whatever happened, it's over." When he released her arm, the Guado gave a warm smile as though nothing had happened, she even patted Alastar on the head and smiled to him. Her hand clutched the healing tonic and slipped it discretely into her kimono's pocket. This proves that you are not who you think. You are a good person. I like helping good people, Cain.

"Where do we go from here?"

wrong weird Alastar does little more than sit on Bala's shoulder during this exchange. though he did perk up for the patting. Though if he hurt friend and she went to battle with the wrong it would meet a whole new side of Alastar.

Cain smiles and lead the group towards bevelle valley, as they walk the vallies green lushish fields and old ruins and old deactivated Machina, Cain sees a familliare sight as they get closer to some of the ruins, Cain smiles and looks to the others," Anyone every seen a chocobo?"As he speaks, the great yellow bird pecks at the ground pulling out gains in the ground, andworms, Cain smiles and motions them to sit still, as the Chocobo looks at the grain near us it starts to peck near Bala, eying Alastar with curiosity. Cain says carfuly, "No one move.. a mucle.."

Bala's breath caught in her throat as she saw a strange looking bird come very close to her and begin pecking grain. It looked at Alastar and cocked it's head as though it was looking for a noontime meal instead of a snack. Here birdie birdie... Bala thought wryly. The bird, seeming to answer Bala's thoughts, squawked and moved closer.

Bala was over come by some shock at something being bigger than her. She struggled to maintain her crouched position but failed, and ended up falling on her butt with a bird pecking her on the head lightly. It eyed Alastar hungrily...

As this large birdy pecked Bala, Alastar could not help but to jump on, that was an mistake. Alastar was soon riding an enraged bird that wanted him gone,he would have made any cowboy proud staying on a whole ten seconds. What happened next was a sight for any eyes, Alastar was much more nimble which kept him from being trampled. The bird nearly had him seven times before he was rescued.

Cain sees how Alastar ride the Chocobo and just laughed, not a dark laugh, but light, and friendly and grabs Alastar and hisses at it as the Great bird ran, Cain luaghed at the little furry ball in his hands and says," Alastar that was the longest ride on a Chocobo I have ever seen, Most would have been pecked and kicked off in a matter of seconds..you did good." Cain pulls out a apple and gives it to Alastar, and looks to Bala and helps her up, a deep smile on his face," You both did very well! most would have tried to kill it.." He looks around and smiles," Perfect place to Make Camp, we shouldent travle at night, I'll go get some fire matiral."HE walks towards the ruins and pulls out bits and peices of what he needed, and finds a few rats, he made a mental note of the rats in case his hunger spiked...

Bala caught Cain's smile in a different light and she felt a small knot form in her chest. Never let emotions show in front of an elder... Her sea-green eyes widened a little and looked a little more innocent than normal. I'm just not used to having a friend...I guess. She shook away the nagging feeling that there was something captivating about the young man, something she admired.

She looked over at Alastar and thought Then again, I never had such an annoyance, either... She noticed Cain moving to the ruins and decided to help him with camp. "O'Scath," she said to get his attention, then she motioned for him to stop where he was and build a nest away from her and Cain. She made a few blunt signals that she wanted to talk with Cain alone for a bit.

She bowed to the Moomba and turned away, heading for the ruins.

Alastar saw he was unwanted so he threw the apple he received to Bala, he wanted meat. He left for a small hunt he has observed the wrong eat blood, so it must be brought in alive, mostly alive at least so he stalked into the wooded area, he saw some mice that could do him but not the other two. He continued stalking without avail till he saw a large tiger with two tails. FOOD now that he found his prey he let it find him then ran towards the ruins that the others were in. he had to stay close enough that it did not loose interest or he would have to try agian.
