Halloween Event: The party

The ballroom in Yoichi palace was decorated with all sorts of black and orange decorations. Handing from the chandeliers were eerily smiling jack-o-lanterns. The usual golden drapes were replaced by long flowing black ones that had the shapes of bats cut out of them. The moonlight shone through, casting eerie visions of said bats across the floors. Off near the windows was a large long table with a bright orange table clothe. On the table was all sorts of food and drinks, including several that looked like they were actually human body parts.

On the far side of the room from the door was a large stage. In the foreground of the stage was a band setup. Drums, microphones, guitars, and amps littered the place. Sitting in chairs around the items were skeletons in various stages of decay. They each sat around tuning and inspecting their instruments with mechanical efficiency. Behind the band sat a large and elaborate throne. The large black throne was adorned with all sorts of spiders and shadows that gave it an ominous look. Sitting upon the throne was a man who did not seem to fit into the ominous setting.

The dark haired man sat lazily on the throne, his mop of black hair waving over his golden eyes. He wore pleated purple pants and a bright green dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows. Over that, he wore a matching purple vest and tie. His face was covered by a black ballroom mask with intricate designs on it. Everything about the man was typical, except for his eyes. His golden eyes had slit pupils, giving them the look of a hungry wolf. He gave a wolfish grin at the door as he thought about his plan coming together.

He had sent an invitation out to all of the different worlds' heroes. Each invitation was specifically tailored for that particular hero. That way, they would be more... inclined to attend. Once here, they would each be stripped of their powers and weapons, he can't have his party turning violent on him. But the real lynch-pin was the room itself. On top of the wisking away of their powers, the room also came with another enchantment. Based on the costume they chose when entering, the room would transform them into it. if the guest refused to dress, then he got to decide what they became. The party will be quite interesting once there are ghasts and ghouls mingling with vampires and werewolves. The man giggled with delight at the thought as he heard the first guest approaching the door. This one seemed to be a little more aggressive than he had intended. He would not tolerate party crashers.

Fury crumpled up the small invitation as he walked down the long hallway towards the doors leading into the large ballroom. Flanking each side of the door was a extremely large man carrying an ax. Both men wore orange and black courtesan outfits. Fury ignored the ridiculousness of them and barreled through the door. As he walked through the door, he found himself without his armor and weapons. He swore outloud before tossing the invitation into the center of the room and shouting at the man on the throne. "Alright, I'm here. I'm playing your stupid game. Now give me the information."

The man on the throne bounced out of his seat and gracefully pounced off the stage. He giggled at Fury and said, "Oh, but you've already broken the rules! You were supposed to come dressed up! I don't consider your boxers very dressed up"

Looking down, Fury was in nothing but his underwear. Grinding his teeth together, Fury growled, "I am not dressing up..."

The man frowned and slowly walked toward Fury as the courtesan guards appeared at his sides and forced Fury down to his knees. "But... But Commander Leonhart! If you don't play along, then others may try and do the same. We can't have that!" The man waved his hands and showed Fury his sleeves, like one would do if they were doing a magic trick. He made a fist with his right hand and slapped the top of it with his left. As the loud clapping sound erupted, a green walking cane flew out of his hand. On top of the cane was a purple mask. The man spun the cane over his head and brought it down on Fury's head. "Let's see here... Since you are so adamant about killing my party... I guess I'll have to... make you join! And what livens the party up more than the dead?"

A green light appeared where the scepter made contact with Fury's head. As soon as the light appeared, though, it began to flicker. The man frowned and smacked it a few times before it returned to it's usual brightness. The light engulfed Fury and then disappeared. When the scepter was pulled away, Fury was fully clothed again, but his clothes were tattered and torn. His skin was a deathly grey and he was extremely hungry. The man let out a giggle and held his hand out to Fury. Fury took it, and tried to speak, but all that came out was a loud moan.

The man turned to the band and shouted, "Hit it boys!" The band stood up and moved to their instruments and began playing "I Put a Spell on You" The man pulled Fury close to him and began waltzing around the ballroom to the song. Midway through, he Fury off into a spin, and at the end of the spin, Fury was left standing there with no arm up to his elbow. The man noticed this and burst into laughter saying, "What's a matter, Leonhart? Do you need a hand?"

He continued in his laughing fit as he walked back up to his throne and sat down, returning his stare at the door as he awaited other guests.

Zidane didn't understand how someone had gotten an invite to him in such a quick and prompt manner due to all the political BS he has to deal with on a daily basis, but upon seeing what the little invite was all about it didn't matter to him as hey the Genome loved a nice party and it would be a welcomed change from the day to day life of a world leader and Adventurer. Obviously though his team mates required a bit of work to get to agree to come along with this due to how they were not the party types for the most part, but long story short Zidane was able to win a bet and get the grumpy duo to come along and he even got to pick out their outfits since they wouldn't do it on their own.

So after arriving at the Yoichi Palace via his Airship he had made a beeline toward the entrance only to see the oddly dressed door guest, looking at the two Zidane held up the invite before walking in with Victor and Repede behind him though they looked rather upset. For Zidane he had seen a rather interesting outfit at Kaleb's shop and picked out what is called an Anubis costume which was him wearing a pair of black jackal ears, Egyptian garbs, and carried a plywood staff that wasn't made to be used to hit anything since it would snap on the first hard swing. To finish the look he did have to hide his tail but he didn't mind he was having fun with this little Halloween thing, though to be honest his outfit was the least bothersome of them all in his group.

Behind him Victor as wearing an rather interesting version of a Nightcrawler outfit, with the use of some spells his skin and hair had been made to look blue though the fur on the skin obviously wasn't there, and his eyes were only a different color due to contacts. He had a fake demonic tail and while most see Nightcrawler wearing silly hero attire, he had twisted Kaleb's arm enough to have his outfit be more military like while having two dull solid plastic swords on his waist. Lastly the one with the most demeaning outfit was Repede who was dressed up like a imp of some sort and sadly for him it was a cute imp as well.

He had fake horns placed on his head along with a fake tail and his outfit was slightly fuzzy in areas though at least it wasn't poofy, he even had an eyepatch over one eye to try and look intimidating but honestly it just made him look more cute. Unlike the others his weapon was on his person due to it being part of him in a way, but runes were placed on him that couldn't removed by anyone but the host of the party and kept Yami from even waking up to move. Thus he was more or less just as disarmed as everyone else and couldn't hurt anyone without using his gloved hands......which was too much trouble to even try to do anyway.

When they walked inside Zidane quickly looked around at the place before looking up at the host and said "Nice set up you got here, seems like we are a bit early though huh.............*notices Raven* Hey raven what...........wait a second....Raven.....why do you look........Dood what the hell happened to you!?!?!" Zidane, Victor, and Repede were a bit shocked to see that Raven wasn't his normal self but instead just some undead zombie of some sort.......this did worry the trio since hell they thought it was a trap to inflict them all with the Zombie Status effect or something. [Hope that works]

Rikku giggled as she walked through the grounds of the palace. She heard of this party after snatching an invite from some person as it looked interesting. After reading it, she was greatly excited about this party. She wanted some fun, and she enjoyed Halloween. Rikku had alot of trouble finding a costume she liked, but she eventually found one that was expensive, but it was so worth it. It was a nice looking costume; Some blonde cat ears and two blonde cat tails. It had two paw gloves and paw boots, also blonde. She loved how it matched her hair, and it came with her own robe. It was purple, and had a cat paw crest on one side. She giggled with glee the whole way to the palace grounds.

Upon entering, Rikku didn't like the look the host gave her. Felt kinda stalkerish to her. She got over it as she turned and saw some people were already here. "Well," Rikku noted, "Pretty sweet decorations, nice and gloomy, I like it! And I see others have arrived...What the heck is wrong with him!?" Rikku shrieked, pointing at the zombie. She was pretty sure it wasn't just a normal costume. She was hoping she would get some sort of answe to what was happening.

Bala had received a strange message in a thick orange and black stripes. She meditated over the message which seemed to be some sort of invitation. Musing over the fact that the name of the host was not given, Bala almost did not want to follow instructions on arriving to the party, but then again, some incentive had been given to her to show up. No weapons or armor...if this is a trap...



Bala was attempting to scratch her back with her plastic sword, but there was a belt in the way, where her blade's sheath resided. Growling to herself, she found herself in quite a predicament. Her long ears and floppy conical hat felt weird against her sandy blonde hair. Catching herself in a trick mirror, she noted that her green tunic was a little skewed from her attempts at back scratching. Sighing, she pulled on the bottom of her tunic with a gauntlet covered hand. She had some difficulty using her other hand because there was a shield attached to it. Scowling at herself in the mirror, she shook her boots left and right until the tunic straightened.

Satisfying herself, Bala walked up to the concession table and prepared to get herself some punch. I'm so not used to this...

Bala's Costume

Showing her invitation at the door, Crucent smiled at the doorman as she went inside and looked around. It was suitably decorated with bats, and all the other things normally used for Halloween and set the tone nicely.
As she walked by a mirror she barely recognised herself with a mass of long white hair, a black mask over her eyes, the black latex suit hugging her curves in all the right places and the small grappling hook resting coiled up on her hip.

Heading over to the bar she asked the barman, who looked like an Igor, for a glass of Red Wine and as she waited looked around. There still wasn't a whole lot of people there but she figured more would come later.

“Gohrick, hurry up already, we’re going to be late! I swear, how much longer do you have to go?” Cypherous asked as he banged on the first mate’s door, or rather, the Captain ex Captain’s door. Cypher was dressed in ripped up black jeans, no shirt, and his hair was an absolute mess. It was a wild looking, blue tangle of hair, as if he had just had a bad tangle with a Behemoth. Along his lips was red corn syrup, and his fingers and toes were dirty, as if he had just been digging and placed the dirt back up. He had very detailed face make up that enhanced his already intense gaze, with fake claws and fangs, more body paint, thanks to Gohrick, that looked like dark blue and black shades of fur. He was dressed as a Werewolf.

“I’m almost done, I have to find out how to…Oh, of course, duct tape!” Gohrick cried from inside the room. Cypher almost face palmed at this point, but he didn’t want to ruin his paint. Why Gohrick had wanted to go as this he would never know, and if he was honest with himself, he never wanted to know. After ten more minutes and a painful cry or two later, Gohrick emerged from the room.

He was wearing a pair of combat boots what were partially covered up by a pair of army pants that hung tightly on his hips. There was a black belt with a lion like belt buckle. On his right hip was a gun holster with a fake gun that looked similar to a magnum. He was wearing a tight red shirt that exposed only a bit of his flat stomach and over that was a leather jacket that was closed over his…bust? He had used some sort of ink magic to extend his hair to his shoulders and was a little messy. On his left was some sort of badly done replica of a gunblade and on his right wrist was some sort of boomerang weapon, Cypher had never seen anything like it, that was duct taped to his wrist that was missing a bit of fur.

“I seriously find it hard to believe that you are going dressed as Shade Leonhart…” Cypher said with a deadpanned look.

“Oh come one, you know I look good…I mean…Whatever,” he corrected himself while giving a glare that he pulled off pretty well.

“Crossdressing for holloween… you are just asking for trouble…” Cypher said with a shake of his head, before the pair exited the ship and made their way to the party. Once there, they showed their invitations, though on the way, Gohrick was getting catcalls and whistles that would cause anyone to blush, but he managed to stay ‘in character’ as it was, and just ignored them.

As they entered, Cypher headed towards the bar while Gohrick took a look around and tried to see if he knew anyone there.

Yoichi Palace. Yet another place Xanxus had never traveled. But the Varia leader had recieved an invitation for a Halloween party here. The invitation had said that costumes were manditory thus the assassin leader was dressed simple and made sure to still show off his natural sex appeal. White fur rang his forearms and lower legs. Black stripes ran through it, giving it a tiger like look. He was bare footed and wearing tight black jeans and a open hooded jacket with the same pattern as the fur on his arms and legs. On his head was a fake pair of cat's ears and coming from his pants was a false tail, both matching the rest of his theme. The fur around his jacket collar fluffed out like a lion's mane.

Under his jacket he was shirtless, showing off his sculpted and scarred body. Walking in he made his way right for the bar. He told the small Igor behind it to get him a bottle of tequila.

It had taken Tora a long time to pick out what he had wanted dress up for at this party, but he finally did. Rhodes had suggested using his wall-clinging armor as part of the costume, and Tors was struck with inspiration, we was going to go as The Scarlet Spider. At least that's what Rhodes called him, and Tora like the costume that Rhodes helped him make. It included red tights, a mask with big white eyes, two 'web-shooters' as he calles them, a belt full of prop gadgets, and a tattered sleeveless shirt with a large black spider insignia on it. Tora showed his invite at the door and walked right on in, and upon entering the party he felt a bit different as he walked around, he didn't really seem to know anyone here as far as he could tell. The place was all decked out with halloween decor and Tora was enjoying it more and more by the second.
"Quite the shindig here, Rhodes would have liked to have come to this party."
Tora began to sing to the music as he walked toward the food bar, and what he saw impressed him alot as well, food suitable for the season as well, truly magnificent.
"Hey after this song could you guys possibly play Superstition?"
*Toras Costume* (Had to b/c of costume Cru picked out)

As people began to file in one by one, the host fidgeted in his seat. He was boiling over with glee and was as giddy as a school girl. Seeing all their costumes, He knew that this party was going to be fun. As the last guest entered, he jumped up out of his seat and paced back and forth across the stage. He wanted so bad just to get things started, but he knew that things like these took time. So as everyone began to mingle, he kept his excitement contained.

Meanwhile, as Zidane entered Fury slowly moved across the room to where the host had thrown his hand. Fury heard the comment from him and picked the hand up. He turned around to face Zidane and held the hand up to him. It just so happened that he still had control over that hand, even though it wasn't attached. So when the hand was raised, it also just happened to still have his middle finger up.

Then a girl walked in. She seemed to appreciate the decorations the the Host had work very hard on, so he liked her. Her eyes fell on Fury and she shrieked, which caused the Host's lips to curl into a smile. Fury, on the other hand, groaned and tried to reattach his arm. The host gracefully leapt off the stage and swept up next to the girl. He put his arm around her shoulder and pointed to Fury saying, "Don't worry about him. He's just some... deadbeat who decided to show up. You don't have to fret, though, he doesn't bite.... At least... I don't think he does..." Fury's hand went up along with that faithful finger again. This time directed at the Host.

The Host giggled with glee as he bounced back up on stage. He danced back and forth on the stage as the rest of the guests came in. Most seemed to head straight for the bar, which dampened the Host's mood for a moment. If one were to be looking at him, they would see his eyes flare, almost like there were truly flames behind them. But as soon as his eyes changed, they were normal again. He knew all that would change soon.

The Host walked to the center of the stage and clapped his hands together. "Attention... ATTENTION! Now, I am sure you all are wondering why you are here and you deserve that answer. The answer is quite simple... You're here to have fun! This is social experiment, so please stay, drink and be merry! This place is your home away from home." The Host put a wolfish smile on his face and began to spin his walking cane in a circle and it began to glow. "And one last thing... Have fun with it!" As he said that, the glow of the cane shot out across the room, bathing everyone in a sickening green light. As the light hit them, it transformed each of them into whatever their costume was. It was time the party actually began!

The Host left the cane to hang in place on the stage, keeping the green light in the room. If anyone entered the room, they would instantly change into their costume. He nodded to the band and jumped down off the stage. The band began playing "Monster Mash" and he began to dance among the crowd.

(OOC: Hope it's not too late to join and if it is, Solita is party crashing again.)

Solita had thought long and hard over her costume after getting an invitation to a party. She hadn't been invited to a party in a very long time so she was absolutely excited, especially about the costume part. She really had wanted the costume to be good so it took her a good chunk of time to finally figure out what she wanted to be, a Cyborg Bunny girl. So she had gotten the costume, custom made. And it was at the few last moments that she thought that it wasn't good enough, something was missing. So she went back to the store and got another item, vampire teeth. But while at the store she decided to buy a cheer leading costume she saw, completing changing her mind. She buys the costume and goes home a bit satisfied, but ends up changing her mind again and decides to be a butterfly creature. Solita goes back to the costume store and buys all the pieces for it, again she wears it but changes her mind. By the time she got to her final costume, a Cyborg Bunny Vampire Meido (or CBVM for short) she had bought costumes that are a puppet, vampire cheerleader, butterfly fairy, ice skater, flower fairy, wolf girl, vampire, Harlequin and some kind of demon girl.
She looked at her costume just before she walked through the door. She looked a bit at her mechanical looking bunny ears, some kind of receiver thingies that laid near it and lastly her outfit, a dark blue maid dress with a white apron. She made sure the pockets that contained some items, remained hidden. She knew that underneath the dress she wore a leotard that had a robotic look to it. Solita then touched her vampire teeth making sure it was still on there, it was. Feeling satisfied with how she looked she then walked through the doorway. She scanned the room a bit, before saying in a loud voice. "Hello Ladies and Sirs! I am CBVM type: Solita. I'm a Cyborg Bunny Vampire Meido or Maid. Made to assist and or entertain you in all sorts of things. If you want any more info, please come to me and ask. And I'll be more than glad to tell you all about my features and stuff." She said before walking on the dance floor and beginning to dance to the song.

Zidane's attention had been pulled away from Raven once he heard someone yell out as well only to see a rather cute looking young girl with a feline style outfit, but upon closer inspection figured out she was a nekomata outfit wise due to how she had two tails just like Victor's pet did. Zidane heard her question and to that he just shrugged his shoulders a bit before turning to see Raven flip him off with his dismembered limb, this caused him to just laugh for a moment and then said "Never mind I see Raven is okay just......looks different, well if anything Raven you got the Halloween spirit alright. Nice job man." Zidane gave Raven a thumbs up as he just shrugged off the whole flipping off thing since he knew Raven was not exactly a super friendly guy.

It was then he spotted Crucent in a feline outfit which was showy but that just made him frown due to how he knew that he and her were pretty much on the level of never talk to each other again or go near one another. So he only made a note to avoid her since she hated him and he didn't want to be in the middle of a spat, he was then able to watch as the host explained the reason for this place and then use some sort of spell on them all. Before he knew it his body felt weird and he started to smell stuff a lot better and hear stuff better too, he even noticed he was a bit furrier and then figured just like Raven he had become what he wore. Zidane found it odd and took a moment to figure out how some of the new features work but he went with it, only because it seemed this host was just a crazy guy that liked to have fun a lot like his friend Kaleb does.

Zidane figured he then talk to the nekomata girl and so walked over to her and looked her over for a second though he was just looking at her attire not trying to check her out, he then said "That is a pretty good Nekomata outfit you got, and looks pretty good on you too. Anyway name's Zidane." Zidane then heard the song playing and he grinned his jackal like face a bit at how fitting the song was. He then figured he dance a bit though kept a ear on the Nekomata to listen to her if she responded to him as he did.

Victor had also reacted with a bit of shock when he saw that he was now stuck with a real tail and his fur was actually real as well, he then just laughed it off a bit since at least it wasn't anything insanely bad to be caught in. He then looked around for a little while before spotting a certain bunny he was pretty sure he knew, so he made his way toward her while trying to adjust to the fact he had fewer digits than before. Once he reached where Solita was he danced a bit as well though his was a good amount more restrained due to his skill being that of older more traditional dances, he then said as he danced "Vell that iz a very impressive outfit you have put together Solita, and it good to zee you have made it to thiz party. Oh right it me Victor, zeemz that vhile in thiz place ve are vhat ve vear at the moment." To prove his point Victor had the tail of his lift up and wave its spaded tip at her in a friendly way.

But while the two older men were okay with this young Repede was rather upset due to how now he was a cute little imp with horns and tail and all, he scratched the back of his head a bit and tried to figure out what to do before sniffing the air and smelled Halloween goodies and quickly ran toward the food and snacks dodging between and around legs rather well in his new smaller body. Once he reached the food and snack table he jumped up onto it and started to pick up a few foods and began eating as he was only about a foot in height now due to being an imp, over all though considering how he normally acts he was being rather calm and relaxed at the moment.

Bala attempted to get some non-alcoholic punch as a green light touch her. It enveloped her and she felt her ears actually become real. She felt the area above her abdomen flatten. When the transformation was complete, she awkwardly stretched her arms out and looked over her new get-up as though something had changed.

Wait... She stared between her legs and blushed. I'm a guy?! Bala tried to make an exclamation of her change, but only got out one strange sound effect. "Gyhay!" Shock rippled through her body as she realized she was not only a male, but also "mute". She looked around at the people, and noticed the green staff on the stage. Must be the work of Ganon...what the --...who the hell is Ganon?! Still glaring at the staff, "Link" shook his head. I have to get at it somehow...but... he sighed and decided to try "mingling" as the host had called it.

Rikku listened to what happened to the zombie-man and shrugged. "Well, that's great to know, I guess..." she said, he voice growing quieter. She walked over towards a snack table, picked up something, and just chewed on it. She quickly reacted, though, when the green light flashed through the room. She blinked twice. Um, what exactly just happened? she asked herself. She felt as if she grew two extra limbs. She turned to her backside and saw her tails became real tails. She grabbed where her ears were in shock. They were no longer there, and Rikku heard noise through her cat ears. She was just shocked, but she growled when she heard this was an 'experiment', as the host called it. At first she was annoyed, but she quickly got over it, loving her new cat-like features. Rikku had the senses of a cat. She thought it was very excellent and enjoyed it.

Rikku, without knowing, was surprised when the man talked to her about her outfit. She jumped back. Why'd I jump back? Rikku thought again, but guessed it was her nekomata instinct. She giggled and responded, "Sorry to jump. Guess I'm not used to my new instincts quite yet. Haha." She looked at the man. It was the outfit of some sort of desert pharoh or something. She didn't know. "Nice costume yourself," Rikku told him, "It's not half bad on yourself, either. Zidane, right? Name's Rikku." She saw him dance a little jig and giggled. "Someone's enjoying the song," she said with a small giggle, but then felt a small bit hungry. This gunk isn't satisfying me, Rikku moaned in her head, This man, on the other hand, seems like the perfect meal for this pretty kitty. She decided to get a small bit closer to Zidane. She'd give up if he backed away, but she hoped he wouldn't. After a couple of steps she stopped and wait to see what Zidane would do.

Zidane blinked a few times in surprise when he saw the young girl suddenly jump back from him before smirking a bit as he figured might just be that new body of her's just reacting to his new form. It was then that she giggled and his new ears twitched and flicked slightly as the sound reached them, the laughter had a much richer fuller sound to it than what his normal hearing allowed and he sort of envied animals with strong hearing for having such a fun treat all the time. He then listened to her as she talked and could take notes in her voice and could hear a slight purrr in her tone of voice but figured yet again it was the cat part of her doing it.

After she finished he then said "Hey it okay I know what you mean, for the oddest reason I seem to be sniffing the air a lot more than I would......by the way you got a rather nice smell. Catnip.......daisies....and vanilla makes an interesting combination.......*pinches the bridge of his nose* see what I mean darn body is acting up...." Zidane had to actually shake his head a bit to clear it out as the smell coming from the girl was rather nice and made his brain a tad bit fuzzy.

He then said "Thanks for saying so, the outfit suppose to be some God called Anubis or something. *twirls his staff in one hand for a second* So your name is Rikku huh....that is a rather nice sounding name rolls off the tongue slightly." Zidane had then listened to her little giggle and comment after he did some slight dancing to work out the kinks in this body of his, he then said "Eh it an okay song and heck it fits the situation pretty nicely don't you think?" It was then though that Rikkus scent became stronger to Zidane due to her getting closer and he looked at her in slight confusion, he tilted his head to the side as one of his ears folded down on his head while the other stood up and twitched. He then figured she was coming onto him and so he moved closer to her himself with a slight smirk on his maw, he was curious as to where this would go as he did admit the girl interested him and was quite attractive.

Looking around; Cru saw both people she didn't know and people she did know mingling in the room.
Laughing too herself she spotted Zid as Anubis with Victor and Repede in tow as Nightcrawler and a cute mummy. Then she noticed Tora dressed up as a Spiderman, matching herself and grinned at his choise. Turning a little she then spotted... Shade? Looking closer she realized it wasn't her friend, just ...Gohrick dressed... as Shade?!
Hearing a familiar voice asking for Tequila next to her, she turned her head and saw Xan dressed as a tiger. Smiling she was about to say hi to him,but then something happened, and she felt... funny. Swishing her tail, she frowned and tried to figure it out as she discovered she actually had a tail!! What the heck was going on here?!
Looking back at Xanxus she noticed he looked alot more real then before...
Turning she looked around and noticed everybody seemed to actually somehow have become what they had dressed as....
"what the hell?"

Flexing her fingers, she purred with pleasure, nearly jumping in fright as she did so, having just discovered that she now had real cat-like claws where her nails had just been, and her hearing also had improved "So this is what it's like to be a cat huh? this is awesome!"

The party had begun to liven up and more and more guest appeared, many of who Xanxus didn't know at all. Let alone who they were dressed ass for the most part. But it didn't matter to him, he had come out of obligation to his work, not for fun. As he reached forward for his tequila a strange, green wave of energy washed over him, as well as the entire room. He felt parts of his body reshape and reform. The fur around his arms and legs had become real fur, his fur now. The ears and tail that were once fake had also become real and extended from his body, the ears replacing his own humanoid ones.

The nails on his fingers and toes had extended slightly, becoming pointed and sharper. Xanxus could also feel all his natural abilities enhanced thanks to his new feline ones. His new ears twitched as he heard a familiar, if not slightly altered, voice a few seats over from him.

"So this is what it's like to be a cat huh? This is awesome!"

Looking over the woman seemed different, but a couple of sniffs from his heightened sense of smell told him it was the same woman. Crucent had been invited to the party as well, and from the looks of it she was enjoying the outcome very much. Taking his tequila in one hand he turned to her. "Didn't expect to see you here kitten." He said, making a bit of a joke while at the same time being totally serious.

As Irvin found his self alone at his quarters, as Noah and everyone he knew had already gone somewhere, he decided and got his old werewolf costume, which was already small for him to use the whole clothing so he just went with it's paws gloves and mask with a black shirt and pants. He never planned to do anything that day, specially go to a strange place following a unknown party invitation he had received, but there he was. He could see lights and music coming from inside that mansion he could swear never was there before.

Just what the...
He gasped at it while the doors closed behind him, surprised with everything happening inside there as it sure, no matter how he looked at it, seemed like monsters had gathered together with some strange looking people in a party. Wait isn't that zombie... he thought as he recognized Fury, walking away from the entrance to the salad bar to eat something and avoid turning any attention on him from those people or things.

Irvin was eating some deviled eggs when he started feel something strange with him. He hadn't even drink anything yet and was already feeling that way, it was when he looked at a mirror seeing how good his costume was in fact and then noticing it wasn't a costume anymore as he tried to arrange the mask. Starting to feel a hunger grow inside him, not enjoying those eggs anymore and taking hold of the large plate with ham, sitting on the floor with it while eating.

"Vell that iz a very impressive outfit you have put together Solita," Solita heard a familar voice say, she then turned around. She was surprised, not by the Victor's presence but because of what he wore. It appealed to Solita, the blue hair, the skin and the eyes. "It good to zee you have made it to thiz party. Oh right it me Victor, zeemz that vhile in thiz place ve are vhat ve vear at the moment." "Nice to see you Victor. You look very handsome." Solita smiled, but then a few seconds afterward she had realized something. Her voice sounded robotic. "Ah! Do you hear that? My voice?" She asked. "There it goes again!" She then heard a low beeping sound and in front of her eyes where her "fake screen" glasses once lay, a real screen glasses was replaced with that. She saw lots of graphs and stuff that she somehow understood, but what really caught her attention was the bar on the side which said low, feed on blood ASAP. She could then feel her fangs, sharp and ready to tear into her prey's skin. She gasped once she could smell the blood coming from everyone around her and immdiately bit her own hand breaking the skin. "Hungry...hungry.." She murmured.

Swishing her tail happily, Crucent turned and looked over at the white tiger when she heard him speak. "Smiling toothily she replied "oh I wouldn't miss this for the world, it seems like it will be a very intresting party from now on... "

Looking around the room again, she saw a big werewolf eating devilled eggs, and laughed a little " ...but I can't help but wonder what's going to happen though, when the more beastly creatures start to get hungry, perhaps it would be best to find a little more safe place to be before they start killing and eating the other guests."

"oh I wouldn't miss this for the world, it seems like it will be a very intresting party from now on... " She told Xanxus with her new tail swishing back and forth. He watched her look around the room again, his liger ears already giving him a clear mental image from the sounds alone. " ...but I can't help but wonder what's going to happen though, when the more beastly creatures start to get hungry, perhaps it would be best to find a little more safe place to be before they start killing and eating the other guests."

"Perhaps we should, this liger doesn't feel like getting blood on his claws just yet." He replied as he got to his feet with a natural gracefulness like any feline. He turned around and gave her a nice swish of his own tail, showing off his ass in the tight black leather. In hopes she would follow, Xanxus made his way away from the bar and out into the main hall before he began to climb the staircase in search of an empty room.

As the green wave of light flashed before the sword man’s eyes, he felt a great shift in his balance, tilting forward slightly. He mentally grimaced in pain…things were shifting and growing within his body, and while he couldn’t feel the pain completely, it was as if he knew it should hurt and was acting accordingly. He stared down at his arms as a thick coat of blue fur started to grow, thick claws appearing on his fingers. He looked down at himself and saw the fur extended down his chest and legs, his muscles becoming denser. He even felt his face expand as a muzzle was formed…

“What on Spira…” he growled deeply, realizing he had become the werewolf he had come dressed as…but if he was becoming what he was, then that meant…he quickly turned his head, scanning for the feline companion he had come with.

Gohrick was quite enjoying the few stares he was getting, the shakes of the head, mainly from those that knew Shade. He couldn’t help it, and after all, Halloween was about being silly and going all out. Still, he did have plans for changing as the night grew later…least till the green light washed over his blue eyes.

For a moment, he felt a bit stunned, before he stared down at his arms, watching his fur vanish, leaving behind a pale, white skin. He blinked a few times, his eyes changing to a grey steel hue, as he turned his head, trying to ignore the feeling of actual long hair replacing the ink job. He gasped as he saw his tail vanishing, then blinked a few times as he noticed a few additional changes to…the plumbing.

“For once…I wish I listened to Cypher…”S/he said as s/he crossed her/his arms over her/his chest…a very real chest. She looked up and gave a glare towards the blue were wolf, who seemed to have abandoned all pretenses and was on the floor laughing.

With a slight huff, she turned and walked towards the drink table...this was going to be a long night.

Rikku had trouble resisting stepping back when Zidane progressed. She remembered it was just a cat instinct and stopped. She smiled cutely at Zidane and giggled. She walked closer, and rubbed against Zidane alittle bit. She was not only expressing her false yet enchanting love, but she was trying to rub her scent on him, to keep away other predators. It was her food, an no one else's. Rikku blinked and stepped away, pretending her cat instincts were the fault. She still stayed close, her two tails wagging innocently. Her ears twitched as she heard some noise. Rikku's head tilted as she heard the sound of other predators. She had the idea to not bother them if they didn't bother her.

Victor chuckled slightly and rubbed the back of his head when Solita called him handsome as he wasn't sure why her words seem to affect him more so than others, it was then though he noticed her voice and then said "Huh it doez zound a bit different.....I zuppose it due to vhat you dressed up az." Victor though was quick to notice that Solita was looking around frantically a bit and then saw her bite herself and mumbled about being hungry for some reason. He figured though from that teeth of hers and the fact she biting herself that she might have dressed up as a flesh or blood eater, so with a nervous chuckle then a sigh he offered his gloved hand to her and said "Vell if you are hungry then allov me to be of zome help.....just don't dine too much on me I rather not black out you knov." Victor was clearly ready to give up some of his blood or if in the worse case flesh to help Yuki, he didn't want her to get in trouble or anything of course.

Meanwhile Zidane was busy trying to figure out what to make of this girl but as she rubbed up against him he couldn't help but feel a slightly happy growl come out of his throat, he then noticed she put some of her scent on him and he was keen to point that out as he said "Ohhhh is the little kitty trying to mark me out as her own? *laughs* Well don't worry I don't plan on letting anyone else get close to me anyway, so then my two tailed friend what would you like to do as I wouldn't mind doing what ever you want~" Zidane couldn't help it the girl was playing his favorite game on him and dog gone it he was going to jump into the fun head first if he must, he then heard the sounds of a few others and shook his head slightly before saying "Those guys better stay back from you as well Rikku, if they don't eh.....well they'll learn to not bother you soon enough......Just hope the idiots don't try to mess with that little Imp either where ever *sees some cake fly into the air after something tackled into it*.......never mind he is over there..." Zidane knew Repede had a sweet toot and with him being smaller and the candies and stuff being so large to his new body it was going to be a crazy time getting Repede under control.

Irvin was still eating when he started to feel strange things, smells, so many different smells filled that place that moments ago he couldn't even notice that they were there. Some of those odors been so good making him start to wonder and drool at it while others just angered him, like the ones coming from another werewolf, the strange black dog talking to a neko girl. Confused with all of his senses and instincts going mad he stood up a little dizzy and after been able to focus his vision he tried to ran through the people dancing in the middle of the room and reach out the door to walk out from that place, but among the people he faced a man with a strange fearsome aura giving him a chilling stare while blocking his way and making him fastly turn around, tearing out Fury's arm as he slammed into him while running. Losing balance running that way he went sliding in the floor ending near the stairs where two cat like person were. Crawling and still with the arm hanging out from his mouth, naturally chewing on it without noticing while looking back to the man, the host at the center of room who blocked his way.
