more of my rp questions

I am going to choose to be a sky pirate,but I want to ask questions first.

1. What type of armor do sky pirates wear? light? medium? heavy?
2. I read that characters could start with two spells. Does that go for sky pirates as well?
3. May my character use any kind of magic,even summon magic?
4. May my character have a pet chocobo?
5. Do party members fight alongside main characters?
6. Could party members use magic too?
7. Could sky pirate characters start with any size of airships?
8. Do pets use weapons,or wear armor?
9. Could sky pirate characters store items,and treasure in their airships?

I'll answer your questions best I can.

1.Any kind you want, jsut remember the heavier, the less movement speed you'll have.
2.Yes
3.Yes
4.It'd be a Pet, Summon, or Mount.
5.If you want them to, they don't have to be in every topic with your main.
6.Yes
7.Yes, but the larger the ship, the easier to hit.
8.No, unless oen of their traits lets them.
9.Sure

Pets cannot use any weapons at all according to the rules, and I presume the same would go for armor. Natural armors like thick hide or scales or just natural durability is something else entirely.

But other than that, I think Mystic got everything.

I have another round of questions that I'd like to ask.

1. May my character have a pet chocobo that could be ridden on? (like Zidane's chocobo)
2. Are golden chocobos possible to be owned in the rp?
3. If my sky pirate can't have a chocobo,then could my engineer/mechanic party member make a type of mech chocobo?
4. Are interacial/interspiecies characters allowed to be created? (a human-moogle hybrid character?)
5. Would having a moogle engineer-mechanic party member place limits or restrictions on my main character?
6. Could sky pirate characters use the abilities of slots,dice,sneak,steal,mug,or coin/Gil toss?

6. I don't think so, those are more thief/gambler abilities/skills. Also, i just checked, we don't have a gambler/lady luck class, so it could be possible. You asked the hard ones DX

Being able to ride a pet means that the pet takes up *both* the Pet slot *and* the Mount slot in creations. Instead of having both a Pet and a Mount, you only get one. The difference between Pets and Mounts is that a Mount may only participate in battle as an extension of the character, that is you have to be riding the Mount and should you *dismount* then the Mount vanishes from battle and may not reappear until battle is over.

A Pet is much more flexible in terms of participating independently.

Basically, Mounts are generally considered to be for Pure RP purposes and not so much for combat, because of the limitations.

Golden Chocobos are perfectly allowable. I once had an Electrum Chocobo, one sired by a Trickster (white) Chocobo from Ivalice who found a Golden Chocobo in Midgar sunning herself in the pens of a breeder of Racing Chocobos... if you can justify it, you can have it.

Party Members *can* have Pets and Mounts of their own, one of each, but they must wait until the main's account gains enough points from the time of their creation to unlock the slot. The rules for it are included in the thread for Party Member Creation.

Blended Ancestry Characters are Twitchy, however, if you can justify it then you can likely have it, HOWEVER, you will only be allowed the Racial Benefits (ie, the Racial Ability) of *one* of those races. For that, though, I'd make sure to run the concept by the Admin first. Final say is hers.

You can use any abilities which are created in the appropriate slot as long as you have an open slot to use and the ability is created in such a way as it is allowable on site. However, Thief Class abilities, such as anything involving Steal, are only available to Thieves. You cannot mimic any Class Ability with anything you create.

We aren't really strict on limiting spell/skill choice by classes, though if you start getting truly absurd, the staff will want to hear your justification.
