Kitten Curiosity... [Open]

Ilserun was about at her wits' end. Mairi was going to drive her absolutely insane, she was sure of it. The Mithra girl had gone into some sort of ecstatic fit when she'd seen the Floating Continent as they were flying around this new world in the Skywing and had demanded that they land.

Martika was far too obedient to these whimsical demands of Mairi's, of that Ilserun was absolutely certain.

No sooner than the airship had settled down, then Mairi was off like a lightningbolt on the back of her chocobo, Daethil, and Ilserun had lost track of them quickly in this forest that they'd landed near. There were a couple of small villages off to the East, and a castle to the West, but she thought that Mairi had run north... so that was the direction that Ilserun was going, trying to find her.

She grumbled the whole way, though worry was at the source of it. What if the girl ran into something too big for her to handle? She was still just a child, for all that she thought of herself as a fully fledged adventurer.

So she struggled through the forest, heading north, and it looked like there was a lake in the distance and... a cave beyond it?
