Strangers Meeting in the Gardens (Jonathan, Rinoa)

Mairi was lost. Not that she was complaining. She didn't generally complain about much, especially since she'd wandered into such a beautiful place.

The fact of the matter is that she'd been exploring the Universal Metroplex, again, and had found herself in a garden area with hedges and flowers and she grinned, running from one bloom to another, squealing with delight at each one and following butterflies, trying to catch them, not really because she wanted to hunt them, but because they were pretty and she liked pretty things.

"So pretty! Ohh, that one's pretty too! Ohhhhhh that one's even prettier!!"

Flitting behind her was a winged fairy, her friend Elanor, and she was laughing softly to herself with a sound similar to the tinkling of tiny bells.

Mairi didn't seem to be bothered by the fact that she was a subject of humor for her small friend. She was looking around at the flowers, and wasn't paying attention to what direction she was running, or whether there might be someone in her way.

Rinoa had came to the Amano Gardens with her pet dog Angelo. He had always come where she had go since they are two peas of a pod. She just wanted to make sure that she was going to do what was possible. Rinoa didn't want anyone to know her own sadness. She had been hiding that sadness from most anyone who doesn't know her truly. Of all the same things that she had been speaking she found the world to be so cold. Rinoa had been trying to stay awake from anyone who wanted to get to know her.

She was even almost kidnapped by Seifer, and she had been used by Adel. She was mostly trying to live her own life her way. Rinoa had been used by Ultimecia, but those were her own memories. She didn't wanted anyone to know why she was all alone now she had been waiting for Squall to come to find her. Rinoa had knew that Squall was brooding, but he loves her. She had been wanting something to be real that can be all hers. She wanted Squall to hugged her. She had wanted to get to know more people that could become her friends. "Well hello there I'm Rinoa." Rinoa said.

It was inevitable, one supposes, that what got the little Mithra-girl's attention quickest wasn't the flowers, or her little fairy friend, but the romping puppy that showed up with the pretty woman with dark hair. She saw the woman, and the sadness in her stance, and she saw the man, with the weapon he carried almost absentmindedly as if he didn't know what Zip-space was or how to get one of those pouches that are larger on the inside than the outside.

But most of all, she saw the puppy, and that made her squeal with delight and run over to fall on her knees to look the little one eye to eye. "Hello, puppy! What's your name? My name's Mairi! Where do you come from? Do you want to play?"

She giggled at that. "Of course you want to play, all puppies want to play." She looked up at the woman with him and wore the most endearingly cute expression she could manage. "Please, ma'am, can I play with your puppy?"

Elanor fluttered nearby, watching all of them. She wasn't certain what to make of the adults who had joined them in the gardens, but she was more uncertain about the man than the woman, so she watched him closer.

Rinoa had looked at the girl, and she was looking at Angelo. "His name is Angelo, and he's from Timber." Rinoa said. Rinoa had been trying to figured out what she had wanted since she had came here. She had wanted to make sure that nothing was going to go wrong. "Angelo seems to to like you, and that's a rarity very a rarity." Rinoa said. Rinoa had wanted to make sure that Angelo was very happy usually he would get scared, and wanted to protected his owner. She had looked at her, and she was smiling. "You do seem like you like my dog." Rinoa said.

She was very much had remembered back then when she was just starting out she was the princess of the owls, and she had first had gotten Angelo she just doesn't remember when she had gotten Angelo. She wanted to make sure that nobody would going to hurt her feelings, and Angelo. "You want to play with Angelo for a while, you know you can if you wanted to." Rinoa said. She just didn't knew that there was a guy there coming towards them since she didn't expected them to be watched.

Mairi grinned happily and looked up at the woman as she played with the puppy, sitting on the ground with him. She had lots of dog toys stuffed in the back of her zip space pouches and if she really needed something she didn't have then she could always reach through the wall of one into her storerooms on the Skywing.

It was one of Mairi's secrets and she never stopped finding it hilarious to watch people's faces when she reached into a pocket and pulled out something completely unexpected or unusual or downright impossible.

Elanor watched them and she watched the man who was approaching, and she was rather concerned about the man and what he might intend to be doing with that weapon he carried. But she should have expected what happened next. With Mairi around, she should have expected it.

Mairi looked up at the approaching man and waved excitedly, "Hello!! How are you doing? That's a big thingamajig you got there! What's it called? This is Angelo, he's a puppy and he's FUN!! and this is his friend and I didn't get her name..." She looked up at the woman who was with Angelo and tilted her head curiously. "What's your name so I can introduce you to our new friend?" She grinned and looked back at the man. "And my name's Mairi!"
