Gohrick chuckled as the kids all swarmed around Valandil and nodded his head at the statement. “Surprised might be putting it mildly. I will admit, I was starting to have a few worries,” he said with a gentle smile, lowering his hood once he checked that the doors were closed, letting his ears flick out, cramp from having been down for so long. He kept his tail wrapped around his waist and under his shirt though. He had been around children before, and the odd fascination with his tail often left him a bit flustered. His blue eyes scanned the crowd of children, and each of them seemed quite happy.

Valandil laughed as he got up. The children followed the Elvaan man as he walked to the bar. "Even homicidal maniacs like me have a good side Gohrick." He said teasingly. One of the children, a small mithra girl, stared at Gohrick however. She walked up to the stranger and poked and pulled a bit at his cloathes to try to get him to follow her. Meanwhile Valandil was giving the other children meals and drinks.

Gohrick had the good grace to lower his head in shame as Valandil brought up a good point. Everyone had a good side for the most part. He chuckled before turning his head and seeing a pair of ears of a young kitten, who was pulling at him and wanting him to follow. He tilted his head before nodding and slowly started to follow the kitten, wondering what it was she wanted and why she had gone to him instead of Val. "Yes little one, what is it?" he asked gently as he smiled down at her.
